Gents- I am the French in a full Western Front Scenario. My Escadre Antilles at Dakar will need ammo to stay in business. Dakar has a size 5 Naval Base; and should produce 5 ammo per turn (if I am reading the rules correctly). Also: Still very early in the game (1914 early October); can my transport...

Unit Panel Red, Blue and Green columns

Gents- From the manual, page 40: • Cohesion (purple column) • Manpower (green column) What does the red column stand for? Also: When new Generals activate, do they appear at a nation's capital? Thank You for your help. Edit- the "unlocking Generals" tutorial has appeared, and answered my question. Mac

Trench building progression

Gents- Have the week off and learning TEAW, (Tannenberg Scenario non tutorial). The manual and this forum (about half way through the threads) have been a great help. The question is: Pg. 25 of the manual explains that all units speedily build level one trenches; also helped by the strategic rating ...

Thank you for you immediate response; I am most appreciative.

Am loving TEAW- it is outstanding.

Hi Philippe- Am currently learning the game by playing the Tannenberg Scenario (non tutorial) as the Russians. I can verify that "frontage open 4" and "frontage closed 12" applies to all of the Russian infantry units (elements) checked thus far. Am not sure if this is in accordance with the explanat...

1.08Q Patch

Gents -

Thank you the 1.08Q patch. I am just starting to read the rules, and look forward to playing WW1 Gold.

I am delighted that WW1 Gold is alive and well.

My sincere appreciations to the AGEOD Team and all of the forum members who contribute so much to each title.

Original:

No, autonomy here is the number of turns they can stay supplied by themselves.

Pocus -

Thank You for your clarification - this is a very useful table.

Jim-NC, Egg Bub -

Thank you for your replies.

Autonomy means - IIRC, self sufficiency and independence. Perhaps, in this case, Autonomy means the level of self sufficiency and ability / freedom to move into adjacent regions?

Gents -

Another question, please.

F2 "List of Forces" has an "Autonomy" column. Am not sure what this column represents.

I am using patch 103d.

Thanks -

A major effort, that will only enhance PON. You have my appreciation and respect - I could not imagine the amount of effort it has taken for you to progress thus far.

I also will patiently wait in anticipation for the mod to be released.

Thank You for all that you have and are doing.

Basic Game Question

Gents - During the turn resolution, one of the messages that comes up is "15th Volunteers are now trained". I have gone through the rules and the patch information - but seemed to be missing the point. Does this type of message mean that a particular element is now active and is now active as part o...

Fearless like in "who do not fear to get his/her hands dirty with a little file editing" :D There are several little annoying bugs or mistakes in various files of the game that are "easily" fixed with little work. These will be probably fixed by AGEOD, but they can't possibly release a patch as soo...
