To avoid the Army Outliner to cover the unit detail window is posible changing the 5th line in the ModelDetail.fte file in the Frontend directory from z = 95 to z = 98. That will show the unit detail window over the army outliner.

Point 1) and 3), don’t remember seeing them working ever, but I have not used all different versions.
About the 3 grey words try with this file, it changes the transparency of the letters. Make a backup of your original file, and copy it to <Rise of Prussia directory>\ROP\FrontEnd.

A workaround to that bug until a fix is to not select the option 'Pause after Battle' ,you will get correct battle reports without it.

Note: To see the strange letters on the loading screen it is a good idea to enlarge the image.


That error happens when using the "Limit Map Loading" in the Options (system) menu.

Copy it in <Rise of Prussia directoy>\FrontEnd and remember to make a backup of your ModelDetail.dfm file first.

I get a crash with the Distant Unload order that seems to happen 100% of the time.
Prussian side, select the 1. Flotte in Prague, click the Distant Unload button and the game CTD.

I get a similar error in the !Main log.txt file in ROP each time I click the Distant Unload button. It probably is the same case in WIA.

Sorry, I assumed that the files were not needed because they point to a part of the GUI that seems to not exist in ROP and where installed for error.

Anyway editing the file GUITopBarUpg.dfm to get rid of those labels seems easy enought and I suppose it will not have any sideffects.

Go to the route <your Rise of Prussia directory>\ROP\FrontEnd and rename the files GUITopBarUpg.dfm and GUITopBarUpg.pas so the program do not use them.

That will eliminate that characters.
