Turn 2 execution: The two corps of Vandamme and Gerard attempted to skirt the flank of the Prussian Army but were engaged. A heated battle ensued. Marshal Ney rushed with his staff from Charleroi and ordered in the attack. An all day battle that showed both sides give and take. In the end the weight...

The dawn of the 16 June finds our main army centered at Charleroi. I have placed the two corps of Vandamme and Gerard under Ney's North Army since Grouchy was wounded and is recovering at Reims. Napoleon has promoted General Morand of the Guard Cavalry who performed brilliantly at the Battle of Mons...

I apologize for the delay in my AAR. I had a technical issue and hopefully was able to resolve on my own as I believe it was of my own making. I ended up deleting the saved game and starting over however I kept the moves the same minus that I forgot to my move supply trains from Paris. Alas I will l...

During my Waterloo campaign I keep getting this message during a particular battle. I have run the turn 3 times and this is the third battle of the turn during which the message keep appearing no matter if I press yes, no, or cancel. After the battle is resolved the game crashed. Meeting my Waterloo: Last Flight of the Eagle AAR

Hello everyone. I just recently purchased WoN and wanted to show my first scenario that I am going to play as an AAR. This is my very first try at this game although I am familiar with a few games from AGEOD. I did post a few AAR's and did some multiplayer games with Wars in America and the first Ci...

The nice round numbers just seem very simple and computerized for a game that is very in depth and detailed. Also I took 10,000 prisoners in that battle which the AAR did not tell me about. It showed up in the messages for the next turn. So is that calculated into the 12,000 or added? I realize you ...

Battlefield reports

It is turn 1 of my historical campaign as the Eastern Entente. The Austrians got a little frisky and crossed the Drina attacking my army at Uzice. The III Serbian Army heard the commotion and marched to the guns. Here is the result of my very first battle- http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag77/x1...

Let us all remember that this is a game, not a simulation. I think the stats and rules are pretty accurate. McClellan is exactly what he is, a good staff officer and organizer (his training trait). As overall commander in chief I can choose to put him in the field or not. Depending on the circumstan...

You can move the gunboats/ironclads from Philly to Pittsburgh. I just dragged and dropped. Giving me 50 days travel up the coast/Hudson/Albany/Buffalo/Lake Erie/on to Pittsburgh. Ah got it thanks. Ohio and Erie Canal, starts in Erie region and runs into the Allegheny on to Pittsburgh. Looks like a road from a distance. Works for riverine craft built on Lake Michigan (a la Chicago) as well. Now what to do with those gunboats that appeared in Philadelphia instead of Pittsburgh...

The Great Lakes Navy!?

Anyone know how to get ships that you build (gunboats, ironclads) that appear on the Great Lakes to get out of there? I built an Illinois gunboat that appeared in Chicago and an Ohio ironclad that appeared in Cleveland. I am sure there is a way and probably already answered somewhere I am just to la...
