Hello Vicberg, I've noticed that the very long battles take place particularly when assaulting a city, there might be an arty loop with fort batteries or something, but city assaults really do take a long time.

This is part of the "force concentration" issue, really the game should basically prevent the AI from breaking up its big corps and should strongly encourage units to pool together into bigger stacks. This game doesn't work like AACW where having cav units tearing up railways and militias preparing ...

Another point, my computer isn't slow by any means, but battles have really massively slowed down with your mod, I think you might have gone a tad too far in your modifications to the battle engine, turn resolution really can be very very long now when many battles are happening !

I downloaded the new version from the link on the first post, it does show 1.02 on the loading page but just to let you know, 8 turns in in a new game the military modifiers still aren't there so the issue might linger and i'll see if I get the new leaders in january or not.
