Re: ≥ 5 Players Ageod Game?

You know nlancier, this is an interesting comment and perspective. I have played so many games one-on-one I never thought about the desire for games involving more players. I do enjoy 3+ player games as this is a nice way of expanding play and players, but personally I thought a two player Napoleon ...

Re: Why can't I get a Corps activated?

You are not doing anything wrong. The ability to form division and corps are a question of time. You cannot form corps early in the war. So just wait and it will become available.

Re: Just short question about leaders-generals

I do not know the gospel answer to your question, but this is my take: Strategic Rating is a judgment evaluation of the designers' take on a leader's initiative, motivation and celerity in moving troops. While leaders gain combat knowledge in battle or lose confidence in themselves, they typically d...

Re: Swedish Army trapped in saxony after Treaty of Altrendast

It appears you have two things causing the issue. The first is that you cannot remove the artillery which are locked in the region. The second is the game is treating the region as if it has harsh weather. Because army handling has the same problem minor allies have in WON in that you cannot remove ...

Re: Not enough scenarios - biggest problem of Ageod games

Well, my dear JacquesDeLalaing, I could not disagree more with your conclusion. The most recent AGEOD titles can not have been better in design and play. The decisions is such a nice method of adding historical options which expand player engagement. I am a pbem player so the battle plan feature is ...

Re: Few questions from a new player.

I am not an expert at playing PON as Japan, in fact, I have never played as Japan, but from what I do know, two campaigns are worth pursuing, the first against Korea and the second against China. Disbanding older units is a good move, but it might take a few turns to see the benefit. I do suggest tw...

This is very interesting and I can see its utility. I will hesitate to use it on a live game, but I have two which would benefit. I will experiment in the sandbox. Thanks very much for sharing.

Re: Any suggestion? All Ageod games crash when loading

Have you used the Windows 10 feature which allows you to run the game as if you were using a previous Windows version? For me, running as if in Vista build 2 usually solves all the problems, of course still run in administrative mode.

Naval settings determine this. If you are playing the most player involved settings, then they must return to port. But any of the other three settings allow replacement in place.

I am far from knowledgeable on this matter, but from personal observation is appears this is related to harsh weather and has nothing to do with the rail. I find harsh weather in some regions makes the region impassible to any movement into the region.

Re: Seven Year War & American War of Independence novels?

So many good books. Personally I am a fan of James Fenimore Cooper, but he is not everyone's cup of tea. The movie 'The Last of the Mohicans' really captures how I feel about his books. But for other options: French and Indian War - The Matchlock Gun Into the Wilderness Fire Along the Sky The Long P...

Re: Best PBEM for experienced players?

My semi-serious answer is the era and campaign you most enjoy. One of the most delightful experiences I had with a long time PBEM player/friend was to start at the earliest game and play forward to the most recent game of all the scenarios and DLCs. It was a lot of fun. Then we went back to the ones...

You are probably missing an underlying program not compatible with Mac. You might try running the compatibility program again looking to see if you need Direct X or some other program.

I assume you have selected the game option to reduce memory demand and winter maps and such.

This is not a monster game, just covers a lot of potential territory. Each scenario is pretty contained.
