Second what GS says, just keep at it. I started playing 1861 w/Kentucky a month ago and keep restarting because I discover something different every time. I'll get into 1862 and then realize my mistakes and restart. I've learned a lot in a month. I hope one day to see 1863! :D

Just a quick note to let you know how much I enjoy reading your AAR. I'm amazed with the pace that y'all are moving this along. :hat:

Good comeback, but know it's against my nature to root for those dang yankees. :D

So am I correct is concluding that you cannot change the options in a current campaign you are playing to take effect immediately in that campaign?

Thanks :)

If you are currently playing a campaign and go to the main menu and make changes in the "options menu", will those changes take effect in your saved campaign when you load it again? Or do you need to start a new campaign for the changes to take effect?

Pat "Stonewall" Cleburne wrote:Yeah, I meant low agressiveness. I haven't tested this as much in 1.16, but it's almost necessary in 1.15.

I'm playing 1.15. Does low aggressiveness provide a more realistic/historical play? Why is it almost necessary?

If you want to know the level of entrenchment of the enemy, see the below link. Especially post 32. The green dots mean units (a division counts as 1 unit, so does a single militia). It is an important distinction in the game. http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=13811&highlight=entrenchment...

McClellan, for instance, would never attack unless things were "just so", sitting a region away for 2 weeks making preparations, regaining cohesion, etc. Be patient LSSpam, like you stated, maybe McClellan is making preparations, waiting for things to be "just so". :) I am sure when he does attack,...

Timing your attack

Need some advice from my fellow soldiers. I've found a lot of answers to my questions by using the search engine but I can't seem to find this one, probably because I don't know what to search for. So here it is, it's an easy one. :) You feel you have a superior force and decide to attack the enemy....
