67 in a month and a half -- I might be the oldest geezer here. Please say that I am not. Grew up playing Avalon Hill board games. Been with Ageod since Birth of America was released.

…The Virginia Almanack for the Year of our Lord God 1771
Well, I am certainly excited about this new engine, if not [so much] the new game. I'll probably buy it anyway, being a loyal Ageod customer [and, I own FoG II]. It certainly looks nice. I have always dreamed of something like this ... only for the Civil War game. [hint!] Congratulations on opening ...
Ditto on Hearts of Iron 4 -- that's pretty much the only game I've played for the last year since I purchased it. As you said, base game is greatly improved. I've been playing lately with the Total War mod. Fantastic Focus Tree for Germany. Other than that, just a little Civil War II & Order of ...
I haven't played a game in quite some time, but I just tried to launch CWII, and indeed I got the same error. I redid my PC a couple of months ago, and everything was working then. I check after each software/game installation to make sure it will work and adjust settings as necessary. There was an ...
The game is pretty darn good as is. I have enjoyed playing it for many years. If Ageod ever decides to work on this game again, either as a patch/expansion or, more likely, a version 3, the one thing I would really like to see is a vastly improved AI for the single players among us. The AI has impro...
HOI4 is okay, but you need some AI mods for it to be remotely challenging in SP. It's also very deep mechanics wise, while in some ways being too light (the lack of any sort of chain of command enforcement is particularly glaring). Upcoming patch deals with chain of command and much more. I don't k...
No problem here, General. One of my Ageod games - I forget which one - has never updated properly [or, as the other games do] ... I just checked, it is To End All Wars. Clicking the Check for Updates button does nothing - but click.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but the Missouri Brigade usually [always?] appears in the game not yet fully formed. Shortly thereafter, another brigade or two will appear separately. Together, they form the full Missouri Brigade.
Interesting that there is always a minority position. We can also find Americans that supported the British in 1776.... WARNING to all members. This is obviously a very hot political topic in USA these days. This thread will be deleted and all parties warned at any hint of rancorous debate.... Seem...
I agree with you 100%, Gray Fox ... and I'm a New York Yankee [though I live in NC now]. The thing is, it is but a small part of the overall continued effort by many "progressives" in this country to bury the history of our nation, which they consider tarnished to say the least. Here are s...
If you want to narrow the focus, choose Middle Atlantic [as the CSA]. That will show you all support units & supply. They can be placed in any valid region, not just MA.
OK -- this applies to CWII, but is probably relevant here. I install clean versions of Windows quite frequently, I seem to always have these types of crashes with my game. Recently - on a refreshed system with clean installations [as Administrator] - played a full campaign as the CSA. First year was...
The gaming world is in dire need of a strategic WWII Pacific Theater game -- one that is designed in the usual beautiful AGEOD manner ... and is PLAYABLE. Vietnam would be cool, too. I wouldn't mind seeing a New World conquest endeavor and/or the Indian Wars. Just my 2 or 3 cents.
