Mine is BoA 2, since it covers my favourite history period.

What is pathetic is that other people are forbidden from this opportunity. Paying fullprice (or less, but not just nuts) and being treated as subpart customer. We don't ask for being superiorly treated, but at least equally. What does that even mean? Exactly how you were less equally treated by AGE...

I do not think that the fact that there are more people hunting pokemons than playing wargames has something to do with "elitist attitudes" or price. People has enough information and is free to choose and play this or that game, it is that they prefer to hunt pokemons to roleplay Frederick the Gre...

These games are really good, historically accurate, and a lot of work was put in to them, and no Steam pleb will ever appreciate them like some of the hardcore fans on these forums do. This attitude is what makes wargames such inaccessible for gamers, not the games themselves. This elitist bs. Such...

zakblood's not a matrix/slitherine employee. He's a volunteer and helps a lot with beta testing and moderation, but you can't count him as an official endorsement. I sent a PM to the Phil's when I saw the offer. We'll see their answer tomorrow. You guys for real? You must've been living under a roc...

I I don't see why AAA publishers with no problem of notoriety, a huge marketing department and no competition on their niche (say the Total War dudes, or Il-2, or Silent Hunter) actually lower their prices, while you could not. The economy, albeit smaller, is the same, + you have the advantage attr...

It reminds Infinite Interactive (back independant), who can only do alimentary Puzzle Quest games now, hoping doing again Warlords strategy games. I hope Ageod won't be compelled to such too, if consumers want to wait for their games selling for 1$. There are people willing to pay 30, and there are...

I think what differs here is the product rather than marketing method. Second version of ACW declared as the most anticipated game for the community. Where as it seems global conflicts matter most for people. No problem with that as long as the product have quality. I came from no where rich but st...

I understand that. This is a problem you need to analize - if you want to stick with a far less number of fans and develop few of your games for many years, or if you want to make new games, like AAE and reach to more fans. You seem to choose less people higher price, and if that idea suits you, I w...

With all respect, I think you couldn't be more wrong. Almost every smaller, indie dev notices that after a while. For example, creator of great but niche RPG games like Avernum series, held high prices for his games for a long time. He thought that's the only way of doing business. But he changed hi...

By complication i mean making waiting time to calculate turns longer ;) Of course if you manage to do very complex but also very fast calculations without high CPU usage it would be great (but it seems impossible) I just don't think there are many ppl who want to wait 5-10 mins to make moves again a...

Pocus, you're the lead developer. My humble opinion is like this: NEVER get your games too complicated (as WITE) because they will just become unplayable... :P

OKay... So this is just for Rise of Prussia? Other games with AGEOD runs better?

Because i want to buy Revolution Under Siege when it comes a little bit cheaper. And American Civil War.

Ok... So i will be more patient. I don't want to make AI dumber :)

How to speed up a game a little?

Calculating turns takes about 2 minutes on my machine. With Birth of America it's much more faster (i know it's less complex than ROP) My specs: Intel Dual Core 1,8 GHz 3 GB RAM Ati Radeon x1350 How to adjust the game to run faster? (i didn't check the option "give AI more time" and editor setting)
