Re: Black screen during turn resolution

Yeah, paradoxally, 2D games may need more video ram (but less power) than 3D.

Re: Field of Glory Empire question

to win the game your faction must acquire more Legacy points than anyone else. You do this conquering Objectives, building iconic structures and accomplishing events. And you can play as you want, without even thinking about the game goal. With this game, I actually don't care about wining, and it'...

So it's funny that E36 had started as a mod of RUS, the biggest scale of AGE games (but maybe with the smallest units lol)...

Re: Merry Christmas Eve All :-)

I could never get into Rebuild3 because of the art style compared to episode 2. I don't want cartoony zombies. I didn't know Rebuild before the 3, so I can't compare. But I agree it should be better with some more serious art (and even 3D animations, if it's made good enough to not deserve the game...

May you have a Merry Christmas Eve! What are you playing? Phoenix Point is decent but not incredible. Have carousings. I mostly (re)play "Rebuild3: Gangs of Deadsville", sort of zombie 4X. I love it, it's simple while story rich, I can't stop playing. http://rebuildgame.com/about.php I mi...

Re: Is this forum dead ?

One huge bright spot of the AGEOD system is the number of dedicated amateurs designers who found a home for publication. Perhaps this success has a bright future. Only as a shooting star, which has already past : ehhh my heart is broken.... :) What went broken uterly tired were the spirit of modder...

There should be an interception test. example: Infantry in the field can't always prevent a cavalry army, or a stealthy or intelligent countrywise army.

Maybe one missing feature is an automatic management of population, so we don't adjust them each turn.

EDIT: For Pocus' morale sake, won't there be anybody feeling countrary? lol

Re: Reducing Micromanagement

Yes, that's I feel and why I finally not so continue playing. Game is always installed, but after playing much I now barely touch it. Maybe the game is too rich, and then expending, winning, becomes a work. It's quite like same kind of drawback as MoO2 (but here it was about armies IIRC). Med2-Total...

I am not sure this forum has a moderator in the sense you mean. Sure, this game is not the easy wargame for casual players, and its UI doesn't make it easier . That's why I can't play it, as my mind is overwhelmed, I must know all details before I may be able to take a decision, if not I then freeze and can do nothing... There is no big picture for me if knowing...

Just to say that sure whites can unite, and should, if they want to have a chance, but in the end there should be one only winner, I think the other white player should suffer a minor defeat, and the red a major defeat.
