Another fascinating choice from Aegod - Ceasar's Legions meets Athena? Definitely on my wish list.

I would think this is precisely why a demo would be put out - to allow us to see how the game goes and if we like it we will get it.

In a recent game I had Robert E. Lee unlock, so i placed him in charge of the Army of Northern Virginia and sent him off to repel a northern invasion of Norfolk. The invading force was soundly trounced but General Lee was killed! Needless to say i considered the battle a lost one.

As someone from the US, I would say the opposite marcusjm. I know I've learned a lot about the Russian Civil War just reading the forums (and making the game very interesting). So kudos to Ageod for picking this part of history for a game project.

I liked Vainglory it had a flair to it, hopefully they can get it back into the title. But it could have been worse - they might have decided to call it Vicky 2.5.

Agree that a global WW2 game on the Ageod engine would be a very intriguing one. Don't forget that success with Vainglory it could be multiplayer as well (Shades of Avalon Hill's 3rd Reich).

I was in my local Best Buy looking for a game and found AACW. Obviously the force was with me since I doubt I would luck out like that again.

Yes, I purchased WW1 then the gold update kit, when i did so the instructions stated that a new key would be sent for the gold update. It is the key i was using when I posted about the issues in my first post.

I finished up getting rid of the UAC and doing a reinstall, however the game laucher says i have an invalid serial key (which i did copy down before i did anything). I may have done it in an inverse order from what Calvinus said, so did i mess it up or has UAC struck again, as it were?

Will do and thanks Calvinus, from my perusal of the forums the UAC does indeed seem to be more trouble than its worth.
