Well, while there certainly are cases where loyalty could switch towards the opponent (Prussians drafting in Silesia and the citizens longing back to Habsburg rule because of it), I don't see this happening in let's say Berlin (the king is drafting, vivat hoch Maria Theresia!). So what about a NM dr...

Also, keep in mind that there is a maximum number of armies you can form, for Prussia it's 6 IIRC, eight I think for the coalition. While promoting incompetent commanders away with army commands certainly is a possibility, it is also limiting your number of real armies you can have in the field and ...

AFAIK, commanders gain seniority based on their performance in battle, not based on wether they win or lose a battle. Since the Carthaginians lost more elements than the Romans I think Valerius is considered to have excelled in commanding his outnumbered forces against a superior enmy, while Hanno o...

Well, try the latest patch. I Did several times and indeed the problems seems to remain/be back: Pompey loses the battles even if you have higher NM and more forces. Hell I even lost battles when my NM was at 120, Caesar's was at a mere 62 (after I had managed to trap Anthony and ten legions in Nort...

How do we know Ceasar was a better general than Pompeius? At Pharsalos, Pompeius had inferior troops, and the two didn't clash afterwards for obvious reasons... Hard to tell what would have happened if Pompeius forces had been on equal terms with the legions of Caesar. And I would adhere to Occam's ...

Legions are as far as I know not replaceable, which makes sense as Sertorius has no access to Italia, where the recruits came from. You can buy replacement cohorts though. Losing a legion therefor means a heavy blow. As for the barbarians and even Hispanian auxiliaries and cavalry, you can replace t...

Part IV: Fortuna's Wheel Having beaten Metellus' forces in open battle once, despite being outnumbered, Sertorius decided on risking another battle. Part III Perpenna's dilemma With victory in the battle of Carthago Nova, the two rogue commanders could now join their forces. Sounds like a good idea, for when you read contemporary reports or diaries, it's very clear that sieging was a very ammo-consumming buisinees. After all, one had to maintain a continuous fire on the enemy batteries to silence them and let the pioneers work in relative quiet.

2) Add two additional unit types: light and heavy cavalry depot units. Why should it be possible to built infantry replacements but not cavalry? I'd go for a different version of option 2: do not promote infantery to elite. Units that gain experience would get better stats that way, and could still recieve regular repla...

Found another bug, though a small one: apperently building a depot while having a sappers and pontoneers unit in the stack will consume those instead of supply wagons. I've had this happen twice when building a depot in Lobositz with Fritz's column in the 1756 campaign.
