I have removed the ability to capture HQs and Artillery, which means that you will no longer collect your enemie's corps HQs and Artillery. I believe that if an army cannot abandon its slow-moving equipment, it becomes more difficult for them to retreat to safety, and they end up suffering greater ...

"I can't seem to reach them even if I try, nor do I know what I have to invent to get there faster." I believe that is deliberate and WAD. In the real world, one cannot know of technologies that are too far in the future. So in the 1930s, for example, "let's hurry up and invent the computer, so then...

It almost begs the question as to whether there should be a cap on the number of total units that a region can contain on any one turn. To keep it historical, I think the cap should be on the leadership points, not the number of units. The cap would be lower in the earlier months and years, and wou...

it's ineffective to post this here. Sometimes, though, we don't know whether 1) it's a missing feature, or 2) that the feature is there, but we don't understand how to make it work. There's a lot of stuff in this game that's like that. This part of the Forum is the most visible, so it seems like a ...

That's always bothered me too. I don't think there is an answer, but I'm interested to hear what the experts have to say about it.

What kind of tooltips did Jefferson Davis have for his transports? i.e. the uncertainty factor actually can make the game more realistic. (...and I hear Jefferson Davis's laptop ran really slow. Could've been a factor in their defeat.) In some ways I think it's a bit artificial to read the AARs of e...

You can be convinced that the Confederate cause was entirely unjustified and still have fun playing them. Or vice versa. Don't people get tired of playing the same side all the time? I usually alternate. Also, if you are enomored with one side, by playing the other, you follow the princi...

How does Buell, with superior combat stats, a bigger army, and a terrain advantage LOSE to Polk? If you look at the black scale at the bottom of the battle report, it's tipped way in favor of Polk. Despite having fewer troops, Polk has a big advantage in strength, probably due to better cohesion.

Cost 1 means you lose 1.
Cost -1 means you gain 1.

If that's not true then I am really confused...
