Oh No. I read the manual and I am know reading this thread. I take it the Password Protect technology for a PBEM game that has been around for over a decade is not used in this game!!!! You have got to be kidding me. I just searched the Civil War thread and I believe I am seeing this over there also...

Starting with Napoleon, you will have the option to zip & password your files. I hope that AACW will benefits from the module before the next year. This is a thread from 7 years ago. It popped up because I did a Search on PBEM cheating, and this popped up. I bought To End All Wars and I read the ma...

Are the rules about supplies being pushed thru a network not applying to Munitions? Is this thread saying that you have to manually take a wagon to a where the munitions are and 'fill-up.? And then return back to the stack?

Thanks.

Wow, this is a great thread for a newb. 1) I see in post #10 that it says ALL units can MTSG. Can stacks without leaders MTSG? Or only Armies and Corps can MSTG? 2) Is this a correct summary: (a) GHQ affects ONLY armies within its range? (b) Armies only affect units within its own Stack? (c) similar...

1) No, they disembark before combat, regions are large enough. 2) Yes As a newb, I am reinforcing the sentiment of bad documentation. The reason for my post is I just read about 40 links about this and just when I think I might sort of understand, the post above says "YES" to #2 when asked if MTSG ...

Wonderful

Calvinus and Random,

WOW. I did not know that is how that worked. So if you are the Defender and you have access to Arty, you should not commit it until AFTER the first 3 rounds?

Thank you again for your time.

Hi Random,
Could you help me with my question about whether or not you need to have Arty in a fortress?

Or is that if you Arty and you are in a Fortress region, you get 3 free shots?

PBEM, I am just not getting it

It must be me, I cannot HOST a PBEM. I follow the directions below to the letter, and it seems to not work. I think it is possible it is not all me, but I just do not grasp the mechanics, so I do not know how to problem solve if it is the opponents fault. With that said, here are the steps. Please, ...

So the blue water % is halved? And the boxes must be balanced? And some cities, like Norfolk, jack the Blue Water % up.

Wow, that is good stuff.

Wondering about the Blockade stuff

So does that mean the maximum blockade is 87% and you get only 12% for blue-water blockades? I hate to sound clueless, but I'm illiterate in computer game code. Did anyone get back with the Bluewater possibly only stopping 12%? Or is it still 40% with brown water stuff. Also, that code for Warwick ...

The Blocade Box percentage, and Harbor blocking, and Navy Engineers

First PBEM and I am stressed to the max - which is great. I need some help with some Naval stuff: 1) How do you calculate or get the Blockade box percentage to change? I read the manual, but that does not seem to be working. Each time I add a ship, the Block percentage should go up, right? If so, ho...

I was wondering in AACW (not real life battles) if you have a stack in a Defensive stance that you train-in and it arrives Day 3, and an attacking force arrives Day 4 or later.., Will the unit that came in on the train be given the terrain bonuses.., etc.., as if it was never on the train? Question on the Leaders early in Campaign

It is late September 1861 in the Coming Fury. Took me like 5 evenings to get this far, so much to think about especially when I do not understand so much of what is going on. This game is awesome. So do I delete this thread?

I built an Ironclad in Illinois, turn 1 in a Coming Fury. I know when I ended the turn I got a free Ironclad and some other free stuff. Turn 2 an Ironclad is in the great lakes (Chicago), which I am quite sure means it is trapped. Did I do that, or is that just for effect or something? Because if th...

I moved Crittendon to Henderson witho...
