I just started a new game as the Union, using the new 1.06 patch, Kentucky seceded from the Union late July 1861. It kind of ruined my plans, but I will play it out and see what happens.

Would it make a difference if the event brought the units in as locked divisions? Three or so unspectacular generals like Totten, Casey, Ferry etc could be in command. I went back to 1.4 RC6 because of the bug. Once the new patch is out then I'll upgrade.

Changing unit names

I downloading the new 1.4 patch and I can not use the change name function. It doesn't allow me to erase the current name, I didn't have this problem with other verisions.

Hello, funny short story, I'm such a Civil War buff, that I brought my wife to Gettysburg on our honeymoon 40 years ago. She still gets mad at me for that.
