Re: Things still to fixed(after 1.0.6.1)?

Good point, the latest official patch at AGEOD is 1.06 here: http://www.ageod-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=152&t=43333 It has CivilWarII-UpdateComp-v106.exe in it but it's also just 37MB big. The latest beta patch at AGEOD is 1.06.3 here: http://www.ageod-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=343&t=50997 j...

Re: The 1.05 patch does not find the installed AJE

Have to bring this up again as I have the same problem. The sticky thread titles "players without valid SN", as I installed & started 1.0 the serial is obviously valid. What is wrong with Patch 1.05 that it doesn't find the AJE installation? Do the paths to the installation have to be ...

Request for utilizing cover art & in-game graphics

Hi in the course of adding a new ladder(AGEOD ladder) to the Blitz Wargaming Club the point came up to utilize the official cover art. I would like to use the cover art pictures that are seen in the shop and request the permission to do so. In addition to that request I also request to use in-game g...

Northern Virginia would have been fine, but as far as I remember it was West Virginia, it seemed Athena aimed for Pittsburgh.

Re: WoN current state

Same with me and CWII when the army protection Richmond thought it was a good idea to march off to West Virginia, I assaulted Richmond, game won in 1862. Although AGEOD seems to orientate their games for Human vs AI gameplay, you can only play the more complex game human vs human and in my eyes it's...

Unit recovery & replacements - where and how much

Hi I'm a little confused about where to get replacements & to recover hits. This link: http://www.ageod.net/agewiki/index.php?title=Replacements&action=edit Just list towns(I guess villages in our game?) , cities, depots & harbors. But looking a the structure files I see that many others...

Some other AGEOD games have seen a Gold version that usually polished an already good game, would anyone buy a Gold version of CW2?
Obviously such a version would have to do more than just polish CW2.

Ok. So now I’m confused. This is why I asked. There’s some they say “Headquarters AND Signal Company” and those that say “ Headquarters MEANS NO Signal Company.” See it for yourself, the HQ has 3 little symbols on it showing its Special Abilities, just hover the cursor over it and it should show yo...

Re: What if You Had No Replacements For Light Artillery

Can't remember having ever captured a Rebel 6lb battery but I miss 79 hits on the second page and only 7 on the first. The price difference is also strange, on first page a chit costs 67/2/24, on the second page only 28/3/8 money what looks very strange. PS Now, the values on the first page match th...

Welcome...old friend! The HQ and a Signal Co will both add 2 Command Points if in one stack. The Medic Co. will not improve the HQ's ability to boost cohesion recovery. Wait.. what? HQ and Signal company do not stack their bonuses. You only get +2 command points no matter if you them both or multip...

Would also likely to know the real benefits of them, sure some values look better like higher ROF but other look far worse than regular infantry. As the Union you get a lot of them at the start of the game and I wonder if I should really care for them or better replace them with sharpshooters. Light...

Re: National moral from battles

@Captain_Orso Casualties in the West were about 11.5k Union vs 8k Rebel. But I lost a general, does that matter? In the East it was 6k Union to 2.3k Rebel casualties. Just as comparison I lost a region with a garrison inside a city of which 2 elements were killed and 2 more almost wiped out with abo...

National moral from battles

Is there any logic behind the NM gain or loss by battles?
In the East there was a defeat resulting in 6k losses costing me 3 NM.
In the West I just won a battle with slightly higher losses and dealing almost 8k casualties to the Rebs just to gain ZERO NM.

Thanks, just wondering if the merchants also have a diminishing effect on the returns so that it may not be wise to add too many transports as there are 9 Union merchants squadrons by 63.
