Well...

I think that there was a large amount of talent in the Army of Northern Virginia..but Grant and Sherman had a huge strategic vision as well..I still consider the best campaign of the war Grant's Vicksburg campaign. I guess the word coersion ...

200 years of insitituionalized slavery and racisim would probably make somone feel second class enough to think that fighting for bondage of their brothers was a good thing..Or maybe they wanted to be free as individuals and were promised or believed they would be free afterwards..and not all black ...

OK if this was "why we fight" or "why the war was started" here is my two cents or even a Nickel. Slavery. Slavery was a curse of the United states up until the thirteenth amendment. While it was one of many reasons that the war was started it is folly to think it was not the largest. It was also th...

Was cavalry ever used to exploit a breakthrough? That would seem a logical use of them, being highly mobile, they could be used like tanks in WWII except more at the tactical level. Big issue with that is a tank was a stronger platform than a man on a horse. I have a rifle and I know a guy in a hor...

Start Date

I was just wondering when the start date for the game would be. And if it is early (around Ft. Sumter) would there be a chance for some early game action such as... ⋅ Slight chance of some additional states seceeding (or not, North Carolina narrowly passed the resolution). ⋅ The ...
