Currently, players can search for BoA2 opponents on the AGEOD forums. However; it is "too easy" for PBeM opponents to just "fade away" after several turns with no consequences for their actions... and nothing tangible left for the other player who invested his time into the match? After ...

PBeM Proposal

Gents: :D I am looking for all interested players who would be willing to join a Blitz Club BoA2 ladder? I believe assigning BoA2 to a Blitz game ladder would help in recruiting better quality PBeM opponents and allow players to receive recognition (i.e. rankings) for their victories. It would also ...

Terrain Basics

Gents: Still trying to get my head wrapped around the game mechanics of BOA2. Hopefully, if I can pick apart "digestable" parts, it will make the learning process more intuitive? So, here are a few questions dealing with terrain and combat: Should combat units avoid attacking in W...

Indeed! As a fun intermediate scenario I recommend Montcalm's one (Master of Carillon its called). Great introduction to French and Indian War. Actually, I bypassed the AI and went directly to a human opponent in the 1756 Montcalm scenario! :w00t: I was able to find a PBeM opponent in ju...

Hi! Well i guess we will need more questions and answers than these ;) But your idea is nice!... Why don't you do it yourself :w00t: Check around the forum and find interesting topics and create a FAQ. You can learn a lot in the process and help other players! As an example, a similar th...

Hi Hope it helps! Your answers have been very helpful! :D Why can't forum coordinators set-up a WIA frequently asked questions (FAQs) sticky? Simply list questions and answers by subject... for example use subject headings such as "Movement," "Supply," "Combat," "Transport," etc. and then just copy...

Yes, this would be fantastic. I've fumbled around with the game, trying to get a handle on "what do you do"? Some guidelines would definitely be helpful. Actually, it is not so much "what do you do" in terms of a scenario's victory conditions... these are clear - control "X" number of strategic tow...

BoA2 PBeM Community

Gents: As I march up my BoA2 learning curve... there will come a time when I will be looking for human opponents! I've always enjoyed PBeM much more then playing against the AI and believe PBeM is the most exciting and rewarding form of PC gaming! Looking for confirmation that the B...

BoA2 Strategy Guide?

Gents: :)

Is there a BoA2 Strategy Guide?

Or a list of "best practices & tactics" for players?

There are some "Commander Notes" in the user manual that have been helpful to me.

Hopefully, there exists more documentation?

The 'update' will get you the latest 'official' patch 1.04c, and simply won't do anything if you are already updated :) Ok. I've downloaded patch 1.04c via the game ...
