Is there a walkthrough anywhere? This game is brutally difficult and I can't for the life of me figure out how to do anything. I've asked similar questions a few times with no replies. Seems they don't care that the manual is so useless. I've had the game loaded for about a year now and tried playi...

Yea, I think I remember that. I guess what I really was wondering was why the human player would surrender? Since the PC would get VPs whether you surrendered or if you lost the force, why not just fight it out and make eir life miserable for another turn or two? Do they get more victory points for...

I have some questions about ambush as well that are in this vein. For instance, does the ambushed force need to be set to defense to gain the terrain bonus? If so, will they not attack a force moving thru their terrain if they aren't on attack? I really like this option--and the game in general--bu...

They add "colonial" faciton for the british american militia and troops increasing their command problems as only colonial leaders and british with the colonial leader trait can command them without a penalty. Really? I thought that is the way it was already. Thanks. (What does assume stand for?) :...

Setting Ambushes

I'm starting to think that when one sets an ambush, if successful, it's in the beginning hex (of a move) and not the end hex as one would intuitively believe. Is that correct? If so, is there a good reason? Related, if that is true as it appears, then a desired defensive posture until the end of the...

- Unused replacements In BoA (different from RoP and other AGEOD games), wounded elements only need supplies to get repaired. The "replacements" are only used if a unit is not full in elements (has less than 4 elements). The unit need to be in a depot / city and / or port (not sure the necessary le...

Differences Between 7-Years War Scenarios?

When I loaded the latest (well it was then) patch a few weeks ago, I noticed that the names of the scenarios changed and (I believe) there were a few extra scenarios (I'm not going to unload the patch to check that :) ). It appears that the only difference in the 7-Years War campaigns are additional...

Sorry for the delay..... It's there in pretty much every scenario I've seen so far, even ones not involving it. The Creek village is in Apalachee (which on the map would be in modern-day Kentucky) A more accurate location would be way further south in Talladega. The map's Talladega is close to wher...

Map Naming Error

So minor but I'm told you guys like perfection :D . In the Seven Years War campaign (maybe others, I'm working my way through chronologically and haven't gotten past that point yet), since I grew up in Harrisburg, PA, I'm pretty sure Cumberland (County) and Harris Ferry (later, Harrisburg) are rever...

Still Trying to Get the Hang of This - need some help

I get all of these replacements but they don't get used. I'm assuming units on depots are somehow repaired but I don't see it happening? In the end, there are dozens of unused replacements. Some ports are blockaded but there are no enemy ships, units, or ice blockage? In the Seven Years War campaign...

This manual http://www.great-invasions.fr/resources/documents/beta-manual.pdf is full of info and over 100 pages ;) Thanks! One quick read thru and I feel much more confident that I can start. Question, though: being a beta and the age of the game, is this manual dead in the water? It is so much be...

Hi Do you know about the pdf docs you can find here? http://www.great-invasions.fr/int-en/index.php?Location=Download/Docs I fear there is not a shorcut key list there but maybe you can find some other useful info. :) Cheers No, I'll check that out. Also found a very short chart in the manual AFTER...

Tables?

Are there any tables made up that a person could print that concisely show what key strokes do what? That would help this new player immensely!
