Dude you guys are awesome. Not many places would support a previous patch game. Another thing that happened is the KY joining the union event is firing again in the summer of 63. Doesn't seem to be effecting the game, besides some very unfortunate USA militia popping-up though. Unless your curious I...

Can't form new corps

I hope you guys can fix this, but I have a 1.02 game that I upgraded and I can't form new corps. I think there may have been an issue with how many Armies I have, but even disbanding armies for testing I still wasn' able to form corps or even disband them.t

1.03 notes?

I keep hearing about big changes. Are there patch notes out? I don't see any in AGEod or Matrix forums.

Access my CW2 digital copy

I ordered a digital copy and installed it on my laptop, which is now broken. Unfortunately, my PDF copy of my receipt with the order number is also stored there. How do I go about getting access to my digital copy without the order number or serial number? I've already submitted a ticket to AGEod su...

Why did this battle happen?

My PBEM and I have a question as to why Jeb's forces got caught: Below is our conversation and the previous turn with orders and the results. And here is our conversation, please let me kow if any of my reasoning is wrong or if anyone has more info: CSA: Do not understand what happened with Jeb’s di...

Does anyone have the leader list from AACW? I'd wager that it is still fairly accurate.

The lose of the reply feature really is a downgrade for CW2 from AACW. Can this be modded in?

The lose of the reply feature really is a downgrade for CW2 from AACW. This also gives a huge advantage to the USA, as you can't see offensive maneuvers as clearly. Can this be modded in?

I didn't get a message, but has the criteria changed to promote leader? In AACW it was a increase of 4 seniority. He is only a 1 star.

10 Questions I have on Game Mechanics

1. Replays? Is there a turn replay like in CW I where I can watch each day unfold? 2. Transports vs Merchants Is there a difference between Transport and Merchants, besides Merchants only do supply? Can both make depots? Do transports in shipping box increase WS and $$ received? 3. Redoubts and stoc...

Development points

Can anyone explain development points? What are they used for besides regional decisions? How you know the amount in a region?

2. Also do Stockades push supplies?

Both sides tend to start with enough unless you are making deep penetrations into the others lands and they have imposed a scorched earth policy. As the CSA I don't build them unless I go fort heavy. With the USA, I try to keep supplies flowing along rivers (which is move effecient and easier to def...

I've seen this before, in my past PBEMs we changed the make-up and re-ran the turn. While it was an accident, its kinda a huge deal when dealing with armies.

I stand corrected about the extent of USA activity in FL and TX, my memory on the matter was a little hazy. BUT the real point I was trying to make is how some of the VPs in areas compared to others are a little far fetched. Currently the VP cluster around Galvestan (which should probable be the onl...

Yes they do need to move, and it has to be to a water zone still next to the land region. Also if you place the guns under a general and he is inactive the guns will NOT fire.

It looks like all 4 wins to USA in round 2. Unless the CSA can crush a USA Army in those games the EP event will move them comfortabley into the positive. May need a few more VPs to kill the spread, but FL and TX are just to easy to get. (USA is overpowered in naval aspect IMHO) In Durk vs Altaris m...

Leader changes

The idea here is to remove a lot of the randomness and luck of leaders getting promoted and moving in the political spectrum it. What I envision is a more flexible system that would allow you to get whoever you want promoted, although the cost in NM and VP would discourage it greatly. The stats and ...

The subsidies event I've seen a couple of times. It goes "blah blah" from Europe "blah blah" "merchant" +$5 and 1WS. I'm not sure if it changes much, but from what I remember the numbers are that low. It appears in the message log, and you will have to hover over it until the details pop up.
