I agree, but is there any reason to have two small cavalry divisions as opposed to one big one? Seems not. Scouting and intelligence purposes. If your sending out a Cav Division for the purpose of reconnaissance I doubt anyone would want to use that Division offensively, so maximizing combat effici...

I finally sat down and really devoted time into getting into this today. Sat down, blew through the tutorial, no big deal....I start up the 1812 campaign off the tip of a forumgoer here....And there is a lock next to every unit that I see and I can't move them except within the province they are al...

I would like the Replacement Feature changed. Regiments were more often made from scratch rather than keep existing regiments at full strength. Something that always annoyed me was smashing an opposing army one turn, and then the next turn facing the same amount of men all over again. I figure it wo...

^ You set Seven Days as a defensive blunder but Antietam and South Mountain as successful attacks? McClellan was bad in major engagements, no other way of putting it. Ideal for a C-of-C role doing administrative and organizational tasks, but as a fighter? Just bad once the bullets started flying.

Take Montreal and Quebec. Thats how I won. You should get a sizeable fleet and army to do it.

If you include Chamberlain by the argument that he would have risen to Division command, wouldn't you also have to include numerous Brigadiers who definitely had potential for command (eg: Armistead, Pettigrew)? I say leave out the Brigade commanders unless they actually advanced up to Division. I p...

Also noticed in the 1812 (full war) scenario, the Baltimore Depot is actually located in Annapolis instead of Baltimore. Not a huge deal, but maybe if something else more major comes up it could be fixed at the same time...

If I understand this correctly a stack can't now enter a structure if it has an inactive leader (on the move)? If so that doesn't reflect any real world situation and will just lead to the unrealistic jettisoning of inactive leaders from stacks before a move. It is always a problem when an inactive...

The BOA2 executable is using latest common code which underwent some cleaning about special orders, there was some inconsistencies there and there. Now, and it is WAD, only bombard can be used when the stack is not active. If this the case for you? Yes and no. The restriction on non activated leade...

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but.....

In the latest Quick Fix for the Legacy Patch I can no longer enter structures on the move. The button that allows you to enter the settlement at the end of your move refuses to be pushed in. Before the Quick Fix it was fine.

It appears that the fix worked for British Generals + Colonial Troops, but not Colonial Generals + British Troops. Washington can still command 2 Regiments no problem. Edit: Indian penalty is working, French General - Canadian Troops is working, British General - German Troops is working, and Americ...

Another question: What is the rule regarding Indians? Is there supposed to be a command penalty with them as well? I see some Franco or Anglo-Indian commanders, which would seem to indicate that there should be a penalty, but most Indians have a command cost of zero, so is there no effect? Or is the...

I can only run the Colonial Version, as you removed the others in the Legacy Patch. No one else has experienced this problem?

What is the command useage of each of those two stacks? It should be 8 for each stack that you have shown, the two commanders have 2 command points each so you have a 30% penalty according to the tooltip. If you swap the leaders and the stacks round, Dunbar with the two Kings regiments, Washington ...

Hey guys, big fan of Ageod games, really like what you guys have done for Historical Strategy Community. I've lurked for a while here picking up tips and getting all the patches, but I registered now to report a problem I've been having. Never really got into WIA until now, as ACW took up all my tim...
