Emx77,

Thank you for all the hard work in getting this map together and making it available. I've downloaded the Planning Map and saved it for future reference.

Thank you again.

Hobbes,

Thank you for the reply.

No problem on using the patch notes. That will do fine. I just wanted to make sure I was not missing the link that would produce an updated manual.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Lodilefty, Siekster, Thank you for taking the time to thoroughly respond to my question. I understand now. I've only won this scenario once as the Brits (36 points to 34 points) and to this day I can't remember how I achieved that! I'm going to accept my stalemate as being fortunate! :) Thanks again...

Victory Conditions - Need Clarification

I just earned a stalemate in the 1776 Carolina Scenario as the British. At game end I held both objective cities: Charleston and Wilmington. I also held four of the Strategic Towns (Charlotte, Charleston, Savannah, and Augusta) even though according to the victory conditions I only needed two. But I...

Siekster, I've found that playing the British side in this scenario to be uphill all the way. I've only won a single time (36 points to 34 points while winning Wilmington and Charleston as well as holding my cities/towns). I think I won that time because Moultrie abandoned Charleston and attempted t...

BOA Legacy Patch

When I access the globe (lower left of main screen), I can only get my Forces Listing. The remaining 3 tabs such as: replacements and status of game to-date are missing. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your time.

Well said runyan99. My experience so far is parallel to yours. I agree that a random delay mechanism is called for. Just curious though - (this just occurred to me) - have you experimented in using a forced march to get Washington to Reading? As of this writing, I'm not sure if that would have an im...

Minor Identification Issue

Hi Pocus, I'm running version 1.10e. In the 1759 Annus Mirabilis scenario: When I click on the John Stanwix portrait in the stacks and messages panel, the unit detail panel has "Clarke" at the top while still listing John Stanwix at the bottom. Coincidentally, they both have the same ratings for str...

Pocus, I solved it. I ran Dxdiag and accessed the "sound" tab. Using Microsoft Help, I found that my Basic Acceleration tab was set to the extreme left. I moved it one notch to the right and exited. I started BoA and the sound worked as you designed it. Thanks for your offer to help. Bob

Sound Problem with Demo

Hi Pocus: During the load process and the initial screen, the music plays properly. But as soon as I select either the tutorial or the 1776 campaign, the music becomes very distorted - as if each note is dragged out and even with some slight static in the background. The battle sounds are likewise d...

The purpose twofold: 1) to protect from hostile fire (although I'm not too sure how effective the barrels would have bee...

Good discussion. It seems to me that the act of entrenching be tied to the presence of "supply" units. I cannot see a standalone regiment(s), out in the boondocks, going through the motions of erecting formal redoubts without the presence of "supply". I mean, is every other trooper - in addition to ...

Korrigan:

7.5 states that a 1 star can command 2, a 2 star can command 4, and a 3 star can coomand 12. Page 12 of the rule book states that a 2 star can command 6 and a 3 star can command 18. Which is correct?

Also, 7.5 includes supply units in the mix - the rule book excludes this type.

Hi Pocus: I asked this question in MarkShot's latest thread: Why do the Americans start with 10 victory points in the 1776 Carolina scenario? The February viewing schedule is not out as of this writing. I would assume that any re-run will be a regional one instead of a nationwide showing though. But if I see anything regarding a rebroadcast, I'll post it.
