So "Beseiged" means you can't move/attack?

I thought this would be an easy question to answer, but I haven't found it. Playing Union v. Athena, early 1861. The same turn I sent garrison troops to Norfolk, CSA sent in some Cav and Militia to take the town. All arrived more or less together, fought to a draw, and my boys ended up beseiged in N...

Thank you. What would be your priorities as the Union player (waiting a turn for the penalty to go away).

How long does that last?

BTW - is there any way to change a unit name (not the force name on the tabs)? There are so many 1st and 2nd this-and-thats it's hard to find the right one in the roster. Thanks!

KENTUCKY invaded (noob needs help)

1861, Union, default settings, turn 10. CSA just invaded Kentucky and the news headline says the Union forces are unprepared, will suffer massive disorganization if they enter KY, etc. A tooltip in the log entry says 'Union forces may NOT enter Kentucky.' But the map no longer says I can't enter Ky ...

:non: I really appreciate you for sharing your experience and analysis, Captain. Although I had a much better idea of what problems I was actually facing, thanks to you, it didn't turn out well at all. But I learned a lot about how very far it is from Dallas to everywhere Union except Tucson, how lo...

If I recall correctly, at the end of that little rhyme, doesn't Jim look like a jigsaw puzzle with a coupla pieces gone? I thank you for the sentiment though. Uh, I know this is kinda late, but I just joined the forum. I believe the jigsaw guy was actually named Leroy, as in 'Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown'...

My first game

Being immodest, I chose the full KY campaign as my first game (Union, normal difficulty). Having watched several "Let's Play" YouTubes and browsing the forum daily, I have some confidence in my ability to deal with the basics. BUT - on the third turn, I was informed that Texas is fighting se...
