So, what am I missing here? I see no target, engagement or to-hit bonus for the Corps level batteries. Perhaps this only comes into play when we get to the assault round of combat? But if so, the cannons should already have done most of their work. Supposedly, unattached corps-level artillery will ...

IMHO the AI is mediocre at best. If you have any grasp of strategic movements it will pose no challenge. Cranking the difficulty only turns its soldiers into supermen. I'd recommend playing by email if you need a challenge. That being said, it is the best money I've ever spent on a game. I have to ...

Curious, Did you check it against the v1.13d Public Beta (RC1a) release? That's a newer executable that now supercedes v1.13b. hold on... I'll provide you the v1.13d executable separately for your test... (keep your v1.13b however for reverting back) . Coastal arty now has 200 power instead of 30. ...

By current game design, it would be difficult to differentiate the loyalty shift rate by individual regions. Aside from a rather large memory hogging event file that would basically "pin" these loyalty settings in place by continuously sequencing thru the same resetting events, there would be no ot...

And realistically, since the Civil War was still being fought in the 1950s and 1960s in certain areas of the un-Reconstructed South, there should be regions which are largely immune to loyalty shifts in favor of the Union. Sections of Alabama and Mississippi should be all but impossible to shift to ...

The "starting" low element transports are not "stupid". They start that way because that's the original starting strength of the unit historically. Unfortunately, the game itself can't replace missing elements of Naval units at this time. Currently by game design, there is no such thing as naval re...

That would be a function of specific leader attributes not defensive ratings. This would be a good solution. Maybe we'll see it in a future game. I sure don't expect Ageod to make a major modificaiton like this to AACW. Since we're talking about a wish list (AACW 2 or later patches) at this point, I would suggest factoring in leader defensive rating into entrenchments. So a ...

It's not something I can do by myself. AGEod has to do a significant rewrite of the game/data code and then there would probably be a column added to the "cities" tab of the scenario databases for "initial" entrenchment levels. That way when the intial scenario is "compiled" there would be an entry...

Intercept/Pursuit from same region

I found this question raised in an old thread but could not find out whether there was a resolution.
