I have never played ROP beyond 1759 or 1760. Therefore I have never experienced the "miracle of the House Brandenburg" in the game. I am currently playing a late campaign and would really appreciate some help: Is the Treaty of St. Petersburg that ended the war between Prussia and Russia implemented...

Chris,

Excellent picture. I will DL both mods as they are on my list to add to this wonderful game. I appreciate all your efforts for both of these mods. I have been waiting patiently and know it will be worth the wait.

Have a great night,

Update. The final version is now ready and will be released shortly after the next WiA patch (1.08) is made official (barring any major bugs). Also backing up the latest files on the thread (I would not advise to use these before 1.08). Cheers, Chris Chris, How is it looking after the latest patch ...

Well, I finished my first campaign as the English (with the Colonial option) and I really liked it. You are right. It is challenging as I found that I could not leave the Colonial troops in a strategically important fort over winter as their enlistment terms expire around the first snow fall. Learne...

That's great, twitter. Let me know what you think of the FIW campaign (let me suggest that you play the Colonial version, as I believe it's closer to history). I appreciate the tip. I have mainly played the War of 1812 scenario and always wondered what the difference is between the colonial/non-col...

Reading the book right now! I just finished Christopher Duffy's book "The Military Life of Frederick the Great" and am finishing the long campaign on RoP and once that is done I will make my way to N. America and conduct the F&I War campaign.

Yeah I have fallen for that many times. I think what I did wrong in the tutorial ( I kept playing after the time limit) was attacked too weakened and my cohesion was messed up because I had a big stack with not enough leaders. I did figure out moving my ships in to bombard and help on the attack th...

Yup thats exactly what I needed. I was close in my ideas but just going about it wrong. I figured leaving without a wagon would be bad. Thanks. Does that theory extend into most Ageod games like the new Russian Revolution one? I mean with supply carts and things like that? Yeah I was playing the Br...

I have looked over the WIKI and the book but I seem to be having an issue with approaching the game as far as traveling. Even in the tutorial scenario I noticed that I become unsupplied quickly as the troops move overland. Although I won the scenario I never took Charlestown. I even bombarded with ...

Hi, As the CP, you can move your armies through that country freely (and I believe in supply). I know - as playing the CP - when I knocked France out of the war, Britain became isolated and their armies were "erased" from the map after a turn of remaining that way. They never came back into France f...

Hang in there Turbo. I had some "freeze ups" and after investigation by the good people here, I found the freeze ups to be of my own making (trying to intercept when I shouldn't as one example and in redeployment I moved a land unit that was in transport at sea - by not moving him my game worked fin...

Mr Twitter I'm also finding (in 'simple turn mode', i.e. type 1. above) that sometimes my plotted moves do NOT get done. Although this is frustrating, I believe this is a genuine and intended part of the game and represents the enemy pre-empting my moves somehow. I think it's something to do with n...

I think you explained it right on. I play in (3 - according to your post) which is WEGO (just like WIA) so that explains why I could not find the execute button you referred to. After this current game, I will try turn based. I do like the WEGO because it can lead to some interesting "run-ins" with ...

Hello Mr Twitter I cranked up your game and it commenced with AI paused, so I took the opportunity to look around the map, more of which anon, then set the AI free and I thought it had stalled. For about 2 minutes my mouse pointer was stuck and I could do nothing but then a reassuring 'Military AI ...

What is the Antivirus installed on your PC?

I tried this one too, no freeze. I suggest to try with the Antivirus disabled. Hi Calvinus, I tried your suggestion, along with the ones in a few posts above, and I still get a freeze during that same turn. I have tried for several days to get passed this turn and it keeps freezing up during the en...

I also have a freeze up. Mine is in early '16 and it is after I place my reinforcements and have plotted my moves. The AI does his moves and then the game freezes either at the end of the moves or right before the first battle is set to begin. I tried several times to play this turn and it always fr...

My turn for a question about leaders :w00t: In the Chasing Jonathon game, how come when I am fighting as the British the Amercians get General Jackson (and a ton of units that go with him), but when I fought the same game as the Americans I got no Jackson and was forced to try and defend New Orleans...

Do Paradox DRM? No having to pay for mini-expansions every few months to get the whole game? IF this does not happen then I will continue to be a solid customer. I hope that Paradox doesn't get their grimy hands on this wonderful customer service!
