Well I hope treaties and trade play a big part in any wars that may start in the game as a posed to just the AI just causing a war for no apparent reason because it can.

I would like to play China. very interesting peroid, what with boxer rebellions, a Russian and Japans increasing interest in this region, and the rise of communism. Though alot of these events seem to come towards the end of the games timeline. Though I'm very excited about the games release. Thanks...

I saw this statement in the Wiki is this still true? Be careful with the industrialization screen : if you ordered some industrialization in some states at one turn, this orders will stay next turns untill you stop them (right-clic on the icons). A lot's of player start and forget this investismment...

Is there anyway of naming divisions and commands yourself? I notice everynow and then it gives me the option but is there anyway I can rename Divisions and commands as I choose?

Just a quick message to all that it was a sad day for me when my local boardgame store closed!! and to my girlfriends delight!!!! I made her play ASL and other great titles... she was actually pretty good but hated learning rules.
