As for the heated comments here: I will not go and say that paying customers should not complain. In my view they buy the right to be satisfied or dissatisfied with a product when they pay the money for it. I do ask for a bit of understanding for the scope of this project, for what a detailed simul...
You mentionned the key point... i.e. *1* We just do not have the resources to do more or faster... :( Fine. Your resources are limited. We all understand that. But that is no excuse for releasing an unfinished, undocumented game. It's clear now that even with the stability issues (mostly) resolved,...
Now the game won't let me advance past Aug. '14. It keeps telling me that not all my armies are activated (your cockeyed way of saying there are still mandatory attacks), yet there is not A SINGLE RED ARROW ON THE MAP.
It's been a month. This game should never been released when it was.
I agree 100% with abulbulian. I am sick and tired of seeing Ageod congratulated for working so hard to fix all the problems, when they never should have released the game in the state it is in today, let alone a month ago. At this point I'm just sorry it's too late to get a refund. If I knew it woul...
The manual will come, it's just a gigantic task that I am alone to handle for the moment in terms of creation... hopefully, there are volunteers here that have shown up to assist in proofreading... this saves time...a lot  :coeurs: Perhaps if you had waited until the manual was done and t...
Curious. Given what you've seen of the game and the vision for it, do you think you would have ever bought it? In other words, is it the lost time value of your money that has you upset or something bigger? I would have bought the game eventually anyway. But don't expect sympathy from me because Ag...
The fact is you chose to release the game in an unfinished state. Now, almost a month into what is essentially a public beta test, you are reaping the results of that decision. Had I known it would take this long to get a finished product (let alone a proper manual), I would never have ordered it wh...
In Nov/Dec 1914, Germany's NW was 31. She then won all battle and successfully besieged three French cities, yet in Jan 1915 NW dropped to 19, and I have no idea why.
You need to add a summary screen for each turn that details gains and losses in NW (like the one in Crown of Glory).
Well, I'm going to set this aside until it is finished. I'm tired of fighting the interface and flying by the seat of my pants, with no clue of what to do or how to do it. I can understand the bugs, they can be squashed, but to release a $50 game of this complexity with no manual is inexcusable. I'm...
So what exactly is the checklist of things to due in the interphase? - research - polictical event selection - economy? - buy units? As I understand it you do these things in any of the 3 turns prior to the interphase. It is during the interphase that they are actually carried out. Now that the las...
What determines the chance of success of a roll on a diplomatic action or a research selection? Also, do successful diplomatic actions last throughout the game, or just through the next turn? As Germany I had a successful foll for Sub Warfare in one interphase, but was able to select it again the ne...
You should mention (because it took me several restarts to figure this out) that when playing in WEGO fashion, that everything other than diplomacy and events is included in the "military" phase.
I get it....but some players may think their decisions can be changed every turn. Of course, if there were a real manual that explained all that.......
calvinus wrote:You take decisions before so you can change idea as long you reach the Interphase... it's a "plus" for you, as you get more chances having more time to think about your choices.
Why not just wait until the turn before the interphase and make the decisions then?
As i understand it, any research, recruitment, political, or budgetary desicisons don't come into play until the next interphase. Is there any reason in even going to these screens other than May, Aug., & Dec.?
