Hi Adlertag, good to hear from you. Never told you, but I always thought your signature one of the most beautiful and peaceful phrases I have ever read. Never forgot it after I read it for the first time. Is it from Jean Debruyne ? Regards Since i heard this phrase a long time ago, i can't recall f...

For me doing 50% to a game just released one and a half month ago is disrespectful for : 1 the developpers who worked so hard to create such huge games. 2 the customers who bought the game at release 20 euros. I can't imagine the same situation with a car, say, you buy it 20 000 euros this month and...

The discount operations are faster and faster it seems to me. With the bloody war happening between the digital platforms, you can see games with a 75% reduction for 2 days 3 months at most after their release. And I'm sure in the end that this won't be good for the customer. True, this silly war i...

Given what we know about VGN, and its focus on warfare rather than economic and political modeling, it's safe to say that it will have to rely on events, scripting and hard rules to preclude certain undesirable behaviors. Starting the game 2 years after the waves of revolutions is a safe and convenient manner to avoid players toying too much at start with their "empires". They will have many opportunities to do that after, during the 70 year span of the game...in respect of course of some historicity the game will tr...
