Grr. Mayor McCheese's honor shall be called into question. Requiring more than the 5k men he has at his disposal to deal with a couple of French hermits who've been wandering the woods these 4 years since Acadia was liberated from the tyrannical grip of King Louis. :D I'll check it tonight. Betting ...

As far as Duquesne, I wrote it off as operator error. I must have had more unit(s) either there or pass through or something. The following campaign season I watched when they returned to refit, and it worked just fine. Since the consumption was so near the region's supply capacity anything unaccoun...

Thanks for the answers guys. Right on the replacements. I learned that early on, after having bought replacements when I should have been buying units/indians. Haven't played WIA in aaaages, so all knowledge of it has been pushed out from playing AACW. :) About the Winter supply, I assume this impac...

Misc questions

First, this is for the full/1755 FIW (Colonial Variant) campaign as Britain, latest beta patch (1.09b RC1) 1: Auto garrisons (Militia that aren't on map but appear when attacked). Does a region with only a stockade (no settlement) not get auto garrison, and/or if it does is there a chance they don't...

sorry if it's been mentioned elsewhere, skimmed and didn't see...

Any guesstimate when 1.08M will be released? Finally relearned how to play and anxious to actually start a game with the intention of playing it through. :)

Do AI Mandatory attacks = Strongly encouraged optional attacks?

Finally got the Gold upgrade over the weekend, and started a CP campaign. French were on the historic war plan, Russia on the Berlin (I think) plan, where they transfer armies to hit Germany, and have ~2 armies with red mandatory attack flags. Now, since I'm rusty I've played the military phase of t...

I'll sometimes use Suspension in Missouri. Not sure if it is actually "Worth it" or not, I just don't like seeing 0 loyalty. It's heartening to know at least 1 in 10 is pulling for the Blue team. :)

Believe that would disable the AI altogether? I think he means on the AI Aggressiveness setting, click so the check is in the far left box.

Should I put my game on hold until this supply bug is resolved? Seems like if places such as NYC are "starving" as stated above, could definitely be a show stopper. Struck the previous turn in my game as well, Union PA brigade that starts locked in Chamersburg I believe (bit North of Harp...

Well, thanks for the replies guys. I'm not sure what happened, but unlike the numerous attempts prior to posting this, it is working now. I had tried dragging onto the "tab" of the fleet I wished to deposit the unit(s) in (as I had remembered from the last time I played, ~ a year ago), and every tim...

Organizing fleet stacks in port

Searched extensively on here and the wiki and couldn't find anything. Is there a way to rearrange fleet stacks while they are in port? Been a while since I played, but would have sworn it was possible Closest I thought I found was saying you could drag the tabs (where you select the given stack for ...

Thanks for taking the time to help out. I did reboot, I also just did a reinstall and repatch. Looks like prior to the beta, hovering over those areas produces no tooltip, with the beta it gives the $MDLxxxxxx text in a tooltip box. I did look in the model files and it is the same as what appears in...

minor issue: No unit description text

Just did a fresh install on a new machine, installed 1.15, then while reading grabbed the latest 1.16 beta. In game, hovering over areas on the unit details window (Where it gives the detailed stats), instead of the text descriptions I seem to remember, it will just give the text line entry from the...

I run it on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Runs without error, performance could be better though. Mid to low teens frame rate which in and of itself isn't a huge deal for a turn based game, except it makes the controls very jerky to use. :( If it matters in trying to isolate the troubles, it's a deskto...

Commerce/coastal raiding, and combat results question

Bit confused on these. First: The German CLs in Africa and Rabaul mini fleet. Supposed to be able to interdict British shipping, but how? Do I set raid and leave them in port, set raid and move them into the ocean, not set raid, just move them into the ocean, etc. Didn't see it in the big manual, on...

Question about Ageod game pack

I just saw a 3 pack bundle called "Ageod's Military Strategies: Battles of 1750-1918" Including ACW, WW1, and BOAII. Just wanted to make sure that the "WW1" was this game? I didn't see any older versions made my AGEOD so assume it is, but figured better make sure. I was looking at getting WW1, then ...
