1. What's the difference between 2 situations: a. Leader and unit are in the same stack but not merged. b. Leader and unit are in the same stack and merged. In the second case I see that combat value of a merged unit is increased, does it mean that merging is more profitable, or will a unit benefit...

French Corps attached to a general at the start of the game cost 0 command points. The single unattached one costs 12. If I attach that one to Napoleon III for instance the CP cost remains 12 (as it should). If I detach one of the 0 CP corps from its original commander it now costs 12 CP (as it sho...

Hi, I have a question about the manual. It seems there are two versions: the 68 pages long official (from GG preorder) and the second one which comes with demo version. This PDF has many more pages and is marked with version number, as other Ageod manuals. Are there any differences other than layout...

I would like to see all game windows mouse accesible. E.g. Assets Balance window next to the ledger pages.
I'm adding one map glitch: the border between Romagna and Abruzzo is missing.

I was imediatelly excited about Vainglory of Nations when I saw the announcement here. I am glad that the four years wait is nearing the end. My only fear is the the vast complexity as I still struggle learning the ageod games I have. A very limited 'gaming time' is not a great mix with s...

Only Steam game version and patches are not compatible (they add some DRM extra thing), but all the rest are compatible for what i know.
Cheers

I can confirm this now, gamersgate version of ROP runs without problems with the patch downloaded from Ageod.

Lord Martin wrote:Oh, so the 1.02 patch on Gamersgate is also a RC? I got the impression it was an official patch.

I don't get it also as the new patch is not listed in the 'news' box on Gamersgate frontpage.

Is the patch downloaded from here compatible with GG version?

And Paradox made a quiz yeasterday also, where you can win a pack of all Ageod titles from Gamersgate. Great offer! http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=470962 I noticed yeasterday, when I was about to buy ROP, finally. However, just before sending the mail with all the quiz question...

I was worried if my poor old laptop could handle RoP. Its specs: 1,6GHz Celeron, 1,5 GB RAM and integrated ATI xpress 200M graphics. After trying the demo, it seems to run notably better than WiA. Map scrolling is somewhat clumsy, but the game is far from unplayable.

My vote goes to NCP with full campaign. I'm not aware of any napoleonic strategy game, except the new Crown of glory:EE from Matrix...which seems to be very interesting btw. We have a lack of competition here. :) There are other attractive suggestions in the poll, such as 30 years war. Generally I d...

Thanks for a nice AAR, finally I could get a more definite picture of the game. However I'm missing something very basic about it. :bonk: There are 8 playable nations. When I choose Germany, will I get a full control of A-H, later Ottomans and Bulgaria when join Central Powers, or will they remain s...

I can´t see that picture too, yesterday it was here.

Two questions regarding purchase from ageod directly:

1. I´d like to order boxed copy rather than download version. Is it possible to (pre)order the download and receive the box later?

2. When can we await release of the boxed version?

Another vote for next feature preview with (a lot) screens here. I´d like to see some combat actions. Maybe you could show us any bigger operation, my suggestion is A-H attack on Serbia... And why not a picture of those few A-H (at the war beginning) submarines raiding into Mediterranean... :bonk:

As a paradox games fan, paradox forum was the first place I spotted a game from ageod. After visiting ageod forum for first time, I check regurarly to see if there are any news about VGN. ...you know, paradox Victoria was too demanding to be fun for me.

I can´t wait to play this game, was happy that just ageod choosed to make a WW1 theme game. To be honest, I don´t own any of ageod games yet - mostly due to lack of time to play at all - but everywhere round the net there are so positive reviews and comments of them, especially about the AI. As 19th...
