Here's an example from my last turn. My current War Supply balance is 3. The financial page shows that after all uses of and additions to War Supply my anticipated balance after the next turn is run will be 30. After I run the turn I read where my Atlantic runners brought in 7 war supply and my Gulf...

I just noticed in the manual that CSA commerce raiders do not bring their war supply booty back to the south, they just decrease northern war supplies by the reported amount. Hope someone confirms that this is correct. That may be my answer.

Joe Johnson

Your reduction of Joes strategic ratings really works. I am having a hell of a time getting him activated to attack. He defends well though and has turned back quite a few assaults. Good job and I hope you keep tweeking.

War Supply quiestion...

My CSA Blockade Runners and Sea Lane Raiders bring war supply and cash each yurn. I get 20+ war supply each turn from these sources and a like amount of cash. I, of course, really am in need of extra war supply. My question is, where does this show up. I can't make the math work. The chalk board at ...

My first experience with 1.08....

Hadn't played for over a month while waiting for the latest Patch. I started a new April 81 game as CSA looking for how the Union AI had change/improved. I played on Hard and gave the AI a slight detection advanage. I also play with the Leader Mod. All things started as usaual with no union in sight...

Started a new game of April, 1881 scenario and the shading is in fact reversed for the Loyalty filter on the first turn. It's not a killer for me as I rarely use it anyway. Any ideas on what went wrong?

I didn't look then. I noticed when I clicked the filter on about turn 3 or 4 I think. I am at work now but at lunch I can can start a new game with that scenario and see if it happens on turn 1. I'll report back then.

April 1861. Yep, I am CSA and loyalty filter in the South is all Blue although the percentages in the regions read correctly. Odd. The only Mod I am using is the Leader Mod.

Since 1.08 when the loyalty button is clicked, all regions loyal to the Union are shaded Gray and all loyal to CSA are shaded Blue. Just reversed , eh?

What about this game?

I know there is much excitement about NC as reflected in this forum but I am not yet sure if i will by it or not. It is visually very attractive but past that it looks like the AACW engine without the strategic element. Am I wrong? I spent more time with AACW than any game I have owned since WIP and...

In your instructions for installing this mod you refer to "experimentalmod" and 'coming fury mod" . Are these not one and the same?? I just don't want to get confused.

My appologies.

Also, Bragg is not in Pennsicola, Fla. This looks like the original scenario. I deleated the units and models file just as you said and unzipped your three files in to the main game folder. Hmmmmm.

Yes, you play that specific July (sorry, not June) 1861 scenario. All of my changes apply directly to this one (all other scenarios aren't modified as such). Any other scenario will remain unaffected by my changes (so you can play a PBEM game using the original AACW and a solo game with my mod with...

Number 11 in your notes mentions Bragg making his appearance "with" an army unless I am misreading it. I am in late Sept or early Oct. 61, I think, and he has shown up in Tallahassee, Fla but he is alone and looking for a Command. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the MOD and the ease of installation. Your notes refer to changes in the June 1861 scenario. Did you mean to say July 1861? Does this MOD only apply to that scenario? In my 2nd or 3rd turn as CSA I had Zollinkofer (sp?) show up in Nashville with a sizable force. Is this correct. I am just...

edmunds.ttf, access denied....WTF!

I'm trying to uninstall AACW for various reasons. I have one file left, FONTS. If I try to delete it manually, I get the message that access to the file is denied. If I try a fresh intall over these files it always stops on edmunds.ttf and the install aborts. This damn font file has taken over my co...

Just wondering when NC will rate it's own forum like BOA and AACW especially since it is so close to release. The banner above say coming in Winter of 2007. In AACW winter begins in October, right? ;)
