Well, personnally, I am very satisfied with Steam. They keep my games collection tidy and up to date. It's a service I really need now, to the point that I don't buy a game, unless it's available on Steam. I had two other Ageod games for example, but I can't find (won't rather) the installation cds....

Well, I am not sure... When I alt-tab during a phase resolution, I experience the same pause that you describe, but that's ok. Thing is at the end of the resolution, I get a crash, a long and silent crash... like nothing happens, then you understand that the game has crashed.

Each time I use alt-tab during the turn resolve phase (in order to check emails, read forums, buy something...), I get an error at the end of the phase and a CTD.

I use windows 7 x64. Is this a shared bug or is it just me ?
