OK, I am thoroughly loving the game, and believe I am slowly learning my way around. I've played the Carolina scenario several times as the Brits to see If I could get the total victory. I for the 1st time was able to take both Wilmington and Charleston, but Savannah eludes me, and I am unable to m...
I downloaded it, then patched but basically anything would call it to crash, so deleted about everything and now just playing it as the way it came out and its working great, knock on wood.
I just downloaded the game and now I'm getting crashes all over the place, just touching the ! button crashes, loading a regiment into a boat crashes, its so annoying!
i thought it was 59.99 or maybe that was the acw, but I like the game, though i have a few issues, I captured Montreal, then was going to attack Montreal, but then all of a sudden all but one of my regiments dissapeared. then also the AI seems a little stupid. I was outmaned 700 to 800. I never lost...
As you guys know I've been contemplating whether or not to get boa2 then I go to the site to check the info of the game, and the price is down to $49.99! sweet!
with me they basically just have to do something pretty decent. like one of my generals gained promotion by having high seniority and capturing St. Louis, and Stonewall was promoted for capturing alexandria.
well, lost the game when I deleted my program file, it stinks.
Edit: Is it even possible to get Kentucky to seceed to any more? I mean, I don't even put troops on boardering areas, yet the north keep attacking my cities, and going through KY to TN, but they just won't turn.
My 1.10d patch is killing my game, got the game last week was loving it, decided to add the patch, and now my game crashes every couple of months when I go and push the turn button.
exactly how do you tell the entrenchment value? I can tell the different entrenchments at the bottom of the icon with the barricade, but I can't tell what level it is.
Playing as the CSA I captured Delaware pretty early on in the game, I was wondering if it was possible to have delaware units, considering my popularity is above 70% and my military control is 100%
I found playing in the csa, invading the delaware peninsula is a good move, I set up a depot in one of the small towns, then supplement that when I capture dover, thus forcing the ai to attack me in dover, and keeping enough militia and guns in the towns to discourage a landing on the peninsula.

I found it last week, so a few, but now my game is crashing for some reason when it reaches oct 1861 so I'm kicking booty so bad the comp has to crash the game to survive!
it is a bit annoying, playing as the CSA I captured every state from WV west, aside from Mich, then took Maryland, DC, pittsburgh and then when I took phil it finally said, victory! it took a buttload of time to do that though, like late 1862.
Indeed, you should give it a shot. The North does have all the apparent advantages from the onset, except in one crucial area that is especially critical to this game -- leadership. All the manpower and supply in the world won't help if your leader won't budge due to a bad activation roll. The othe...
Sounds like you need to try a few campaigns as the Union ;) BTW, that's a good way to do it if you want to improve your game as the CSA; check out how things look and feel from the other side (and where things can hurt the most :sourcil: ) I can't bring myself to play as the US, I see Lincoln as th...
I only play as the CSA, but I goofed and opened a game as the US, how in the earth do they just not win the game in like 20 turns? I mean they have supplies conscripts and units up the yinyang!
Basically I'm fed up with the WV joins the north and the Kentucky event firing. Basically I want to delete the WV joins the north event because they already control it, I battle my way to capture the cities then that fires and I have to do it all over again, is there any way to delete the event? The...
