Restoring Old Games

Okay I feel like a moron now. Yep, hit 'Home' and the save files will be pushed back a turn at a time. Helps to read the tooltips, eh? :bonk:

British Breakout

I'm very much looking forward to seeing the effects of your "cohesion" rule as well; Washington would not have been able to launch his Dec. 1776 attack on Trenton if it were not for the British having a requirement to disperse their forces over large areas to secure lines of communication, safeguard...

Problems w/ Blockade Runners

I've been able to load units onto my bateaux, and onto the Chesapeake transport flotilla, but I have failed when attempting to load either supply units or infantry regiments onto the Continental Navy's blockade runners; is there any reason for this problem? I'd have thought that a supply unit would ...

Saving Games

I don't suppose this is really a "technical" issue but more of a gripe--so far as I can determine, the game does not allow holding onto old saved game files, meaning that the game has no "Awww shucks!" fudge factor if you pull a really bone-headed move ("I didn't want Washington to assault, I wanted...

Problem Resolved

Well I took a while to respond as there were a few things I wanted to do to see if I could correct the problem--and they did. First, I cranked up my RAM from 512MB to a Gig. Secondly, I updated the drivers for my Radeon 9600 graphics card. This corrected some bugginess I'd seen with the graphics as ...

Reboot

It doesn't even CTD--the game freezes, waits a couple seconds, then the screen goes black, and shortly thereafter the WindowsXP reboot bar (with the scrolling blue line running left to right) shows up on the screen. I have not tried the demo yet, it may be a couple days before I get to downloading i...

Game Causes Puter to Reboot

I purchased BoA last night from Steam, and was delighted to finally have it. Until I started playing it...I can't get past perhaps the 4th turn of the 1775 scenario without the game not just crashing to desktop...but in fact my computer reboots. Anyone else having this problem?
