Thx a lot, it works perfecttly (Iwas confused by the normal patches unzipping themselves). The scenario looks brilliant, having already played 1813 three times I look forward to it. Especially I like the northern fortresses, which now makes Bernadottes army much less vulnerable - in my previous game...

I must be really dense, but my download does not have a readme. I cant´t open it as it does not have a program assigned for opening. I can+t seem to find a NCP game installation directory either. It´´s a shame as I would like to play with your interesting mods.

Viewing opposition forces

Is there a way to view opposition forces in detail after finishing a scenario (it would be nice to see how much they are hurting :king: ) - I tried to change the fog of war setting, but could still not access enemy troops in detail.

I think entrenchments in open country is absurd for a zone game, these kind of positions were only ever valid in a situation where the attacker deliberatly took them head on out off fear of the defender refusing battle if the position was outflanked.

Yes you could do something along the line of an order "prepare for defence" which could apply to all structures - forts or city, engineers should off course help immensely. I can see that entrenching in open terrain would take some of the dynamics out of a Napoleonic system that does not have the po...

The russian positions at Borodino and the Allies at Bautzen was bristling with redoubt, so it should certainly be an option although only to about a 10% benefit as the above examples are the most elaborate field defences besides Torres Vedres. Also the defence of any fortified location depended grea...

For starters I have played Napoleonic miniature and boardgaming for 20 years, this is by far the best I have tried on a pc - congrats to the designteam. Tried the 1813 campaign with almost exactly same outcome as Jasta. Beat up the allied Army og the North while it moved towards Hamburg leaving Berl...

I have now played the 1814 campaign as French - immensely enjoyable. trhe casualties and relative fighting qualities and casualties during battles seem much more balanced during this campaign. Now I am looking forward to playing 1813 which should be more of the same. Should a review be done of the e...

Or to make the militia more resistant during sieges. Historically the major problem with untrained troops with a reasonable fighting will (Militia/landwehr) was their lack of staying power in the open field, whereas they often conducted themselves reasonably well during sieges where formal training ...

Have just bought the game and started the 1807 campaign. Won easily almost without trying as the french (excessive russian casualties for few french). Tried agein as russian. Concentrated 150.000 russians in good supply east of warsaw and was whipped by 60.000 french - taking 45.000 casualties to 10...
