Several of them are perfectly sized to be nice backgrounds on the monitor. I wonder if this stuff is copywritten? (copywrited?)

Thanks.

I might give it a try.

It's better to be lucky than to be good!

This is just about a battle. It was during an 1809 scenario, in the early phases of maneuver. I had decided to concentrate the French Army at Wurzburg and issued orders for all Corps in the area + Army HQ & Napoleon to move there. Some Austrian Corps were within marching distance so I put all my cor...

You are correct. In fact, I live 10 miles from the battlefield. :p leure: Ten miles!! :p leure: Living in Virginia I am surrounded by American Revolution and Civil War battlefields. I have re-enacted most of them over the years. I even work at the shipyard where USS Merrimack was converted to CSS V...

I find myself looking for the following things: 1) Units that are unsupplied 2) New units (just arrived, just became active, received replacements) 3) Battles won/lost 4) Captured supplies I don't think having a lot of colors is a good idea because that might become annoying, so how about this: RED:...

I WISH!!! I'm in Virginia, USA. I would love to see Flanders. Not far to Waterloo from there.

So I decided to try again using the advice from Bylandt. Since there were NO RUSSIAN TROOPS IN RUSSIA :tournepas I just clicked on Napoleon and then Moscow. A couple of turns later Napoleon was in Moscow. Then it snowed and all the French died. :bonk: Meanwhile, the Russians seem to be immune to wea...

I am just closing in on Warsaw myself. How do you say "SWINE!!!" in French? Or Polish? I think there are several problems with this scenario. 1) The French forces are too concentrated and badly deployed at the start. Better to back up the clock three turns and let the player spend those three turns...

I suppose that's what Nappy should have done in the first place ... now let someone claim that good wargames can't be educational tools. :D A somewhat less than helpfull response. In fact, Napoleon did make it to Moscow, and had he not dithered there for a month he could have made it back out again...

Problem with 1812 scenario

I tried to play the 1812 scenario six times. Every time the Russians ignored the Grand Army, scattered their armies into single Corps and Divisions, and ran them all west. There are almost no French/Allied troops in the west or south, so eventually all my supply lines were cut. Game over. [color="Da...

Movement Path and Message Colors

When I am plotting my moves the game displays light blue movement lines to show me where leaders have been ordered to move, and the path they will take. Once there are several of these on the map it can be hard to pick out the one I want. Could you have the movement line display in RED for the curre...

One thing missing from Europa Euniversalis is the ability to form client kingdoms like: Northern Italy; Spain under Joseph; Westphalia; Naples; Holland; Duchy of Warsaw; Confederation of the Rhine (sort of). A Grand Campaign must have the ability to do this, and provide for recruiting of units from ...

English translations

Being a typical American, I only speak English ... well ... I speak what passes for English on this side of the Atlantic, Brits would probably argue the point. Anyway, when reading the .pdf manual and notes that appear on the bottom of the screen during "next turn" resolution, I am sometimes confuse...

Dang! I just posted something like this in the Wish List. Total War requires a different engine and asking for that is asking a lot. I would be happy if they used their current engine but switched to brigade level on a small scale map. Instead of a map of Europe, the game gives you the option to por...

Tactical Battles & Division Attachment

So far I love the game. Here are two requests: 1) Make Corps attachments permanent. I don't like drag and drop movement because I often merge two corps without meaning to. Easy enough to split out the extra corps commander (though sometimes it takes me a while to figure out where he went), but his u...
