World War 2 has been done to death, sure. But it hasn't been done with AGE engine or with that beautful art or with the care and attention to historical accuracy and events. If AGEOD brought it out people would buy it anyway and I will bet they would like it. Napoloeon has also been done to death bu...

Disappointed WW2 not scoring high on vote. I love the AGE engine, artwork & everything. Would have liked somehow to have seen WW2 done as AGE game.

I'm guessing this is the same artist who painted the Hearts of Iron III map?

What happened to the genius who painted all your other games?

Not pleased. Very sad. Replaced beauty with mediocrity.

Sorry, no I did not successfully get the game to work. I thought installing patch 1.07 would 'fix' the pre-install issue.

Game is not working...I don't know what to do to fix it.

I cannot get past this:

Hello Calvinus! Sorry if I was not clear: I preordered the original game (2008), which I pre-installed before release. On the day of release it was 'unlocked' and I could play. Now, since then, I have reformatted my PC and come to reinstall it. However, I get this and there is no option to unlock it...

WW1 Pre-Release time-locked version not installing

Hi, I am trying to reinstall the game but I purchased it as a pre-order and the time-lock is preventing the game from installing.
How do I fix this?

Thanks,

Ian

Yes Nikel, I have tried it, same result. FTR, I am using the latest available divx bundle (6.8). The only difference that I have, compared to the codecs that are installed by the game (5.x) is that with the latest if I choose to see the intro video the game window gets minimized to the desktop tray...

I reported this 2 days ago. I played through Caporetto and it froze again, worse than last time with the WW1_v2 fix. I could n...

My serious advice is to have the Beta team uninstall the game, and the install the retail download version , use the unlock patch and see if they experience the same issues we have. I suspect that the Final Beta is somehow different from the retail, since the retail version had the lock on it (Calvi...

With the last fix you sent me, I had chance to play more battles. The time the AI takes to commit forces on the battle screen is too long. The game played slow with jerky mouse movements and then crashed after I saved the game: http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/1907/bbbbbju0.jpg Memory leak? Also: ...

1918 Scenario- Good news: Play develops longer. Bad news: game still freezes after a time, usually in military phase. Very long times while AI is thinking. What I'm doing (trying to go as fast as I can) is to introduce an improvement on AI performance. But the freeze you are having on AI (hours!) is very very strange. Most of your PCs have the same specs like mine (and those of betas), where AI takes 2-3 minutes to work... :bonk: That's why I really s...
