What on earth can you do to take prisoners, both for my side or the enemy, i have been playing this game for many years and not once have prisoners been taken, i am all up to date on patches.
Playing as the Swedes in this campaign, i noticed a strange occurance, several units have 1208 cannon!
For instance, Klerckers force has 1216 cannon and Savolaks has 1208, this surely cannot be right. The game is upto date patch wise and the other campaigns run perfectly.
Downloaded the patch, loaded up the Danube campaign and noticed on the objectives page in the ledger that the flags to the right of the objectives are out of line. Loaded up Thames or Danube, same problem.
Fortifying was not just about trenches, farmhouses would be loopholed, and entrances shut off and Abatis put across the roads, which happened at Waterloo. I used to boardgame many years ago, mainly Decision games and on one of them, Napoleon's first battles, you had engineers, which allowed you cons...
At Quatre Bras, Ney ordered his engineers to prepare to fortify the crossroads as soon as it was taken to repulse any counterattacks. But he never got that far.
Going through the manual i noticed on the shortcut keys, shift+f; build fort.
But as yet all i can really build are depots, is it possible to construct forts?
Excellent game, spending many happy, frustrating hours, trying to outwit the enemy.
Installed the new patch of 1.04, started the Spanish campaign, went to click on the globe and was kicked out to the main menu, tried this with a couple of scenarios and the same thing happened.
