Here is another one for the manual or at least the WIKI. A Section on Intelligence Assesment. That would be real helpful to a green player. And the proper role of Cavalry to gather that intelligence.

Please do not ruin a good thing

Maybe something as simple as the tactical system in La Grande Guerre - where you assign units to the right and left flanks, either committed for combat or held in reserve, and shifting from one flank to another is somewhat difficult. You could maybe have three sections, plus a "cavalry zone" on the...

More Questions

Hi! The numbers (90/90) are the power (pwr) of that enemy unit. So its the current strenght of that units (division in this case). Just compare it with your own divisions pwr and you will know more or less how powerful they are. The * means the number of stars of the general. So in your example, Jo...

Estimating Enemy strengths

I am having a problem here. What ever side you play you know your strength and number of men, horses and cannon by clicking on a stack and doing ctrl key. Before that it gives a pwr number. If you pass your mouse over the stack name you get. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w80/mudmarine_sgt/ACW%2...
