Have you tried to give the general a division command before trying to join him again with a unit? Some units are capable of joining with a general without division command, essentially forming an independent regiments. If you want to change that to a brigade, first disband (the - sign), then give ...

Hi, I didn't remember which Leader has which unit attached to it by default but maybe you should post a picture, reason can be it can be a historical brigade, may be it is designed that way. Did you try disbanding unit from leader by "-" sign? and are you using latest beta? It may be that historica...

Hmm..

Anyone happen to have any ideas to the question I mentioned above?

I can understand if stuff like this gets overlooked, but I've checked the manual, and even searched these forums and it doesn't really explain that at all.

Any help on that would be greatly appreciated.

thanks :)

Since this is a good thread about Brigades, figures I'd just throw my simple question that I'm sure vets can answer quite easily. Sometimes, I noticed a General with his picture to the right of the unit, instead of the usual left, and most of the time these generals only have just 1 unit attached to...

Need to re-download the installation.

Greetings Everyone, I purchased BoA II back in July, had fun with it, but awhile a back, had a hard drive problem, so I needed to reinstall windows. Therefore, I lost the copy of BoA II on my hard drive. Now, I still have all information, in terms of my serial # and of course, the download link wher...

Looks great,

Curious question, but can we see actual unit numbers on the screen in terms of their strength? Like the way it is in AACW and NCP?

Anyone ever going to undertake Bios for Generals?

Greetings Everyone, One of the most interesting aspects Ageod's previous game, AACW, was the mod driven community to produce bios for mostly all the generals in the game and such. Now, I am wondering, if there is such a project undertaken for NCP? curious to know, and if not, maybe this can be the b...

Playing as the US, I can't form any divisions. I tried waiting until Nov. 61, but still nothing. Reinstalled twice. Great work, by the way. Hmm, Are you sure you have a proper 3 star commander in lead of the army, and nautrally a 2 star commander under his wing as a corps? Remember, the opening arm...

Hmm, As for my opinion, one of my favorites is actually the TV Mini Series, North and South, (Books 1 and 2 , book 3 doesn't count, lol). I really liked the direction they went with that mini-series, through the eyes of two fictional families, yet still see a ton of historical characters play an int...

Hey, Need a quick clarification on the historical attrition option. The tool-tip states that with it on, you'll only recieve replacements with a depot on it. Now, in order to receive those replacements, do my units need to be inside the city/depot? or can it still receive replacements outside the de...

mp84 - I checked out your files. I noticed one small problem. The name of file 562 is 562R.Schenk.mdl (no space) instead of 562R. Schenk.mdl (with a space) That means the original file doesn't get overwritten. Having two 562 mdl files causes the game to crash on startup. Can you rename that one and...

Ya, that is what I'm starting to think as a whole as well, maybe one day I guess, we'll see some feature of a history tracker of the battles, or tree that shows your current chain of command for each army in the game.

thanks for the comments overall though :)

Your thoughts on a companion excel booklet sheet for your ACW campaign/pbem games

Greetings Everyone, I'm curious to your throughts, or maybe I've missed it, and someone can point it out, but there is really not a history feature within the game that can keep track of all the battles you have won or loss, and most importantly, a simple detailed window that has your chain of comma...

Sorry about the error. It's fixed now. For those few who already installed the mod, you can fix it by replacing the models folder again.
