Looking for a PBEM opponent for ACW

I have played several PBEM games of ACW but a couple of years ago. I am now coming back to the game. I am happy to play either side and can do an average of a turn a day - not always every day during the week, more at weekends.

I have downloaded the Pre-Order file and have an Application Setup_AJE_POVersion which is 778,847kb downloaded. When I try running this af...

Many thanks for the great support. I failed to see the button under the save games. I can now find out whether the confederate army of the Potomac has really spent 1862 marching around aimlessly and if so how they kept supplied with my control of all the main depots including Richmond........

Opening a save file as the other side

Apologies to have to ask. I knew how to do this 2 year ago when I last played the game and I have searched the forum and manual but failed to find the simple solution. I am relearning the game with the latest patch and easily winning as the Union . But since the main point os to prepare for PBEM aga...

Great! I am happy to play either side, take your pick.

I hadn't seen the Beta patch before I got your message. I have found a long trail of positings which led to Release Canadiate 4. Is there anything newer than this (if so please post a link)? Is it stable?

Best wishes

Union Blockade

As the Union do I need to have my fleets in an offensive posture to increase the blackade %. Doing so causes a cohesion loss of 0.5/day and prevents the fleets staying on station for more than a few months. Seperate question - do they have to be in offensive posture to chase blockade runners or raid...

Looking for first PBEM game

I have played 3 campaigns against the AI and want to move on from relatively easy victories.

I am happy to play either side. I have 1.09e

I can do quite a few turns at the weekend. I will be able to play sometimes in the week (work and travel permitting). I'm based in Sussex (UK).
