Forming Division

When I go to form a Division I find it annoying that if the division commander isn't active then I cannot form a division with them. I wouldn't mind it so much if I could see a reason for it. But I cannot. It isn't like a division disbands when a commander is inactive. It is about game enjoyment. It...

I tend to agree with the OP. BoR had an amazing map. I am unsure why but that map transports me to the time of Rome. The worst part of ACW2 for me...and it is minor but hard to deal with...is the font in the messages, or more precisely the background color. The black font on the grey background is a...

I was attempting to offer a constructive perspective. My apologies if it came across otherwise. Apology accepted and I would like to extend my own. I'm sorry for getting all worked up. I would also like to extend an apology to all others on the forum, even Gray :) . Peissner- The comment ab...

I gave you a straight up factual answer above in my first post. If I had wanted to "dismiss" your concerns, I would not have even bothered to post an answer at all. Would you rather I had posted something like "We're working on it...", when we really weren't? Lots of other game companies do just th...

I logged on tonight thinking I owed an apology for my venting earlier. And I do to some extent. My frustration was really minor, by that I mean I will restart the game having learned my lesson. I will also say, as I have, that it is a good game. I am getting frustrated on a whole new level however. ...

Very Unlikely... Why?... There are literally thousands of small details like this built into making the AACW game one of the best Civil War games ever produced. It would literally take years to keep the tooltips up to date with the evolving game as it continues to evolve. This does NOT even include...

Blockade runners asleep

In my current game I have about 4 transport units per blockade box. In past games I could count on getting about 3 to 4 war supplies per turn per pool with such a force. This game I have gone about 4 turns without anything from my runners. The union doesn't even have any ships in the gulf box. It is...

I know one game was all cavalry so that makes sense. The other one I thought I had a mix (nearly positive) of cavalry and infantry. I guess in my new game I will have to make sure I have infantry. I will let you know how it goes.

Dallas

Playing as the South I had the event that gives control of Dallas, Texas to the Union. I have defeated the Union and they left the region but I cannot capture Dallas. No enemy inside, I have tried assault posture, but the flag will not turn. Eventually I run out of supplies and withdraw. Anyone know...

I understand that we all have our differences as to what constitutes a particular region. I also understand that each game can call each region something different. An example would be Victory Games - American Civil War. It divided the game map into 4 regions. They where from east to west - The East...

Deep South, South East

Hello All, I recently bought AACW. I think it is a great game. Many thanks to the designer and team that created this game. I have been cruising the forum for the last several weeks and only recently joined. I discovered what I believe to be a bug with the map and would like to share it. Please forg...
