Tazilon: This obviously needs to be fixed, but please excuse the original programmer/developers for the occasional grammatical errors which you will occasionally run across. English is not their first language and sometimes the subtle differences are not so immediately apparent to them. You do have...

Arsan, Before you buy replacements, it accidently represents both numbers. But, as soon as you buy 1 replacement, the number no longer represents what it says it does. It is not labelled correctly. A broken watch is correct twice a day - but that doesn't mean it is a reliable reference of time. This...

I have noticed this too. I understand this as that the thrid line number has a two fold meaning. Its both the total number of this element on map and the max number of this kind of replacement you can buy on a given turn. Because, as Egogammer says, both numbers are the same. I think each tu...

In your first few turns, when you don't have a whole lot to do, it seems a good idea to transport 1 general per turm to where you will need him in the trans Mississippi and Western theaters once you get your first wave of troops going, keeping in mind, you have some better generals on the way later ...

it is normal as you can't have more replacement ordered that the number of element on the map. So the number on the map is reduced by the number you just ordered. As it is currently labelled, it makes no sense to me. Since you don't need a 1:1 ratio, it doesn't matter, but... Say I have 10 units in...

I have sent the same cavalry units over the same march 3 more times under the same conditions. Only in the reported case did they end at 0. Every other time they ended in the mid 60s. No idea why they dropped so low the one time - but it certainly caught my attention! lol

I am using the currently posted most recent patch. Two days ago I made a cavalry movement with two units through several friendly regions with clear weather and ended up with 0 cohesion. I can't acurately say what their cohesion was at the beginning of the march but it could not have been very low b...

Ok, I have just finished slogging through this entire thread from its inception. I must immediately make one observation: the attrition caused by such slogging is way too high and should be modified downward! :cuit: Everything I can find on the subject shows that Armies of that time felt a standard ...

When a new Army HQ becomes available, you will see a message to that effect in the events log for the previous turn.

My Second Campaign

This is more a synopsis than a full blown AAR, so please excuse lack of detail. Preface I am still quite new to this game. My first campaign was total learn-as-I-go mode. Being a damned Yankee (born in the great state of Pennsylvania but currently living in East Texas), I had no choice but to play t...
