IF there is ever a version 1.10f, could you just "rename" the scenario 4. 1755 Campaign Colonial Faction and 5. 1756 Montcalm Colonial Faction to the "original" name (i.e. French & Indians War and whatever name it is for 1756). Now the original version of the scenario disappeared (good move in my o...

Just finished watching the Videos and would just like to add my appreciation  "The game had some hiccups, I almost had four divisions starve to death in the Mississippi swamps, and only got saved by some very good luck." I thought this was a brilliant part as it showed the problems you can...

There is a change in the 'AutoGarrison' setup which was making the remote locations death traps for AI French/Indian Raiders. Fort Cumberland and the peripherheral settlements are once again juicy, vulnerable raider-bait. ...and Athena is always getting better ;) Could you explain the 'AutoGarrison...

A few acres of snow

I have come back to this came and noticed that now Fort Cumberland is destroyed before I can reach it, every time. Whereas before this was possible. Has the set-up changed or is the AI better? On latest patch.

Although I haven't played for some time I keep checking this site on a regular basis and after reading the AAR on the Pontiac scenario I thought I would have a change from HOI3/EUIII/CK. Just a point. The one criticism I have with WAR is that some scenarios (I like to dip in now and again) do not se...

Ok tried Frustation in the South and army did embark/move/attack another city in the same turn. Just another quick question. How is experince calculated cause in the manual it says even if a unit lossed in a battle it would still gain experiance. Stacks that have participated in a battle doesn't alw...

Orders?

I have a couple of questions: 1) I want lets say a unit outside a town/city (read it is better to have units outside a structure unless cohesion is a factor) defend but retreat into the structure and not outside the region. Basically as a delaying exercise, so that they have to siege/assault same/ne...

Think I found the answer the loss by points message is at the beginning of the last round :bonk: I took some of the objectives after this message.

The devil is in the detail with this game, but loving it.

I thought that if you managed all the objectives then you would win otherwise it was calculated on VP's? I'm just learning so explanation would be useful.

Frustration in the South!

No matter what I try I always seem to lose on points as the british, thats even when I have attained all my objectives; Wilmingtin and charleston and also the strategic control of cities (at least two). So why don't I get the Victory? Edit: Played as america and not fulfilled objectives b...

Thanks. It was the entrenched icon. Have tried ACW to much management. This looks exactly what I was after. I like the streamlined play (just miss the division/corps groupings but understand it reflects the period).

Could someone please describe the special icons that appear on the units on the map panel? Thanks in advance.
