"Ruler" and "Prime Minister" of U.S.

How do these work for the United States--is the "Ruler" the President? Who is the "Prime Minister", then?

I think the Special Operations have to be the same for each side (not sure, I will check). But the balance of power is more important and I am afraid the Whites do not need to have fewer ressources in this game I understand! My (limited) experience so far is that the Southern Whites don't really ha...

Limits on Results of Special Ops?

Do the results of the Recruit and Raise Money Special Operations vary according to the population of the region in which they are implemented? An historical problem for the Whites was that they controlled many very sparsely populated regions (Archangel region and Siberia, for example). It does not m...

White player sought for RUS Campaign

You and I will playing as Whites (your choice of Siberians or AFSR) against a very good Red player. Approximate 1 turn/day pace. Options: Standard attrition, small battle delay, 50% naval efficiency micromanagement reduction option. No randomized generals. Least-restrictive activation option. *** Pl...

There are filters which remove the troop icons from the map--try CTRL-F3, CTRL-F4, etc., to see if you can get your stacks to reappear.

No we can't. But as Red player, you can (theorically..) sometimes play the ANArchists, and for some historians the Makhnovists or Grigoriev's belong to the Green. At first I thought Grigoriev couldn't belong to ANA, but I discovered some far-right militants (prefering fascism to bolshevism, like ma...

you can play as the Greens, Reds, or the Whites

This quote from the review doesn't seem accurate. We can't play as the Greens, can we?

I fixed the problem by uninstalling the game, reinstalling the game and the latest patch, and restoring back to Turn 11, re-running the turn.

The German Evacuation event fired.

Critical Error at End of Turn 11

In a PBEM that I am hosting, I receive a critical error when processing Turn 11. The German Evacuation event does not fire.

This is a bit of a game breaker.

Opponents needed!

I'd like to start a three-player grand campaign, with a pace of ~1 turn/day.

Please post here with your faction preference, and send me a PM with your email address.

Thanks!

I'm actually tempted to organize a 3-way PBEM game...(but I'd probably do so on the Paradox forums) Where would you do it? Paradox lacks a forum for RUS, as far as I can tell, and I could not find a general PBEM forum, either. I will be very happy to be proved wrong about either of these statements...

I haven't tried it yet, but why do you think it wouldn't be fun for the Siberian player? My (limited) reading on the Russian Civil War generated some worry that the action in the Siberian theater would be exciting at first, with the Czech Legion, Komuch, and Kolchak's Coup, but that the limitations...

I'm interested in hearing whether anyone has tried the campaign by e-mail with 3 human players. How are such games working out in practice? In particular, is it fun for the WHITE player who takes the Siberians? Also, are there any logistical difficulties in managing multiplayer PBEM? (I want to fire...

In that case this map is somewhat closer to historical maps of this period compared to the Civil War map ;) . Really? I thought that it was ...the feel of existing in that era's combat environment... Ah, but a more historical looking map would be the very thing to increase the feel of being in the era. I got around this problem by disabling User Account Control on my Vista machine.

Text running out of the window!

I am running Vista with fonts set to 120 DPI (otherwise they are too tiny to read). My resolution is 1920 by 1080.

Some lines of the text in the text window in the first demo tutorial run outside of the window and can be difficult to read against the map per the attached screenshot.
