Citing from memory, but I think you'll be able to raise HIs in the new patch.

That's impressive if you have Rome at your door, they seldom reach Egypt or Judea usually...

I'm using AVG on my laptop and it works smoothly. Free also (even if a bit aggressive on 'buy us buy us' :laugh: )

When we basically restarted from zero with the Archon engine (compared to the older AGE engine), there was so much to do that some things had to be left out (in addition to features we wanted to changes). It is sometime hopeless, if you get an impromptu DOW or your enemy (at war with another) manages to gain the upper hand and turn his eyes on you.
And sometime it is just difficult, for many many turns. Don't quit! The best gaming memories are from awesome comeback :dada:

If there are extra (valid capitals), then the excess should be removed. Perhaps you had an allowance of 2 capitals and so one extra was kept.

Nice!

PON has a slightly different graphic library compared to others games.

Support for it is discontinued if it involves editing the game itself, but we can still try to answer questions, as you see, some problems can be solved.

Perhaps it should be limited to buildings that are clearly incremental, like Walls 2 > Walls 3.

From memory too, you don't need to put a $ when citing a faction trigram (is that the correct word for an abbreviation of 3 letters? :blink:

There is no need for faction aliases and if you see one, it is an automated left over but is not needed. The game will check what TUR stands for directly...

An important note is that an objective is not only a progress token but also -20% on government age. So it is better to plan for that and take them when you have an old govt. And if you believe you can"t hold them all, then lose them when you just evolved...

Going to Empire provides a lot of benefits: one extra leader, all possible decisions (including the military reforms for improved units), more chances to get decisions per turn, and more.

It can be done as mods. I need to arbitrate between many features so more flavor for Rome, I don't know when I'll get around that. In the meantime you can play others nations with some flavor content, like Judea, Dacia, Carthage, Maurya.

If you have a very strong army early as Rome, it acts as a deterrent and you should get less wars. Now, you have to support it though.

The doors from the Temple of Janus have been closed only twice up to Augustus. These are the only peaces they have known for more than 4 centuries.

There is nothing hard coded, you must check the building panel to see if and how many legacy points they provide. For example Campus Martius is a national wonder because there can only be one on map and only Rome can have it, but that's it, no extra legacy from it.

This would need to be tied to a kind of "historical pack" of events. Why not, it should be optional. Not everybody wants to have a game with the high predictability historical leaders and events give somehow. Some prefer a more freeform game.

Many mechanisms in Empires are in Empires because they make sense. Probably if we were to do a Civil War III, we would not add Decadence and trade would take a back seat. :)

What specifically, you dislike in the new game and what do you fear will always be in the new games done with the new engine?
