But, I am still there, PDF. Even if I had to work in an advertising company for material reasons, I am always able to work with ageod and to try to give my best ideas and visions to the future games (these days I try to help the team who work on a still secret sequel of BOA and ACW. Chut...). I onl...
Some Wargamer Folks have been calling for a War of the Worlds campaign, with martians landing in Britain... Now such a mod would ROCK. It's been a long time since any fantastic (non RTS) strategy game has been developed. I remember games such as Wind masters (Atari ST): A serious and complex...
[quote="Korrigan"]Here is a nice contribution from Marvingardns in The Wargamer forum: uh...ok...my eyes started to glaze over reading that...almost went into convulsions... :bonk: ...let's not have another Vicky, how about actually making this one accessable and ...oh I don't know....fun ...
Since they are already working on a similar time period as Victoria, it would be nice to see their take on the time period of Crusader Kings. You can't go wrong with a Medieval game, it will sell if done right.
I wish I could see the small pictures as those are a couple of problems I have with the other games. The Battle Report and Unit details. Battles really need to be given more detail and no more of the hearts/points thing..give me numbers so I don't have to figure it out myself with pen and paper. Als...
I agree with Pocus' explanation and like the way it is handled. Just because the regiment no longer shows up in the Brigade, doesn't mean it was destroyed to the last man. Sometimes we get so busy counting the beans we don't enjoy the chili. Too bad we aren't able to put them in some sort of "cadre...
I'm not sure about Robin but actually there are a couple reasons for some people to get the CD-Rom version... 1. Some of us still have dial-up making a download not a fun experience. 2. Also In this case NWS is selling the CD-Rom for $49.00 where Matrix has already said they will charge $59.00 if yo...
Any chance of an official release in the future going past 1066 which will include all the crusades/middle ages? Great Invasions II (1066-1485)??..this is the time period I am hoping for.
I'm definitley picking this up when SF puts it out....from the title I am assuming that maybe you are hoping to continue after 1066 in a future edition?..I'm hoping that's the case as that would lead into my favorite time period..middle ages-crusades..etc..
It really would be allot more satisfying to see numbers and more detail as to what actually happened..hearts and hits just arn't doing it for me :coeurs: ...why not just take it one step further and show outright estimates of men killed, injured..force size..much more satisfying I think. just read a...
That's all very confusing..seems like there should be a better way to show actual men dead numbers...I just want to be able to pull it up and see this many men died without figuring out what means what..can't it be more straight forward if even just estimates?..much more fun to see your handy work a...
Same here..I can't run it anymore....loved how it had so many battles/wars that can't be found in other games..and fun to play too. Maybe if you keep pushing that dream it will be a reality someday ..this system would be great for something similar but yet different enough to be it's own game..
Good to hear..with the fun and challenging gameplay and the great look I would say you have a very nice team on your hands. Any thoughts on someday doing an "Age of Rifles" type game?.. which would include a variety of maps, and scenerios from around the same time period as that game. I would love t...
Very nice review!!...I must agree, the maps/artwork put me over the top to buy this title. I hope you continue to use this style in future titles..so many games of this nature take so little pride on how the maps look...they under estimate how much more it adds to the game. On a side note..was just ...
Excellant!!!.Congrats!!.... Will it be any different then the Ageod version?, I just purchased that version...wish I had known I could have saved a few dollars :( ..but happy you got a deal and happy to support directly if it means more titles from you...Did you sign for more then one title or just ...
I'll Second "Le Grand Passage"..US title "The Northwest Passage" 1940 with Tracy and Robert Young..Great old flick..gives an authentic feel I think to what it was like.. the logistics of supplies and men ..I was worn out just watching it..lol..not to mention gotta love the crazy ranger who reminded ...
I would like to see some British battles including: Zulu War: Rorkes Drift, Isandlwana, Ulundi, Khambula...Boer War, Crimean War, Afgan War, Indian Mutiny..etc...other then Age of Rifles..hasn't really been done yet..
