Updated manual?

Howdy all, I just ordered AACW to be delivered to my place, but since I got it from the US, it will be some weeks before I can get my grubby paws on it. I have Napoleon's Campaigns to keep me busy until then, but I noticed that that game got an "revised manual". Does AACW also have an updated versio...

I'm slightly confused with the "foundation patch" thing. I have bought an English Boxed version of NCP, but I haven't updated it yet. Should I first install the 1.0b patch and then proceed to 1.3? Or is there something special I have do download before I can use the 1.3 patch? Much thanks in advance.
