Just finished up February 1622 and been playing the negotiation card for Gabor but he still is roaming around Central Germany and eastern Bavaria and beyond. Am I just the unluckiest bastard that has played this game or is there something wrong here. I could see going 5 or 6 turns but this many?

So I've started/played 4 games in a row where KY has seceded. Does all the above mathy stuff mean I'm just unlucky or that even the good electronic citizens of digitized Kentucky know how bad of a Union player I am and just know where their best interests lie

Most of the recommendations I've seen say recruit in divisions. Now I think you can get a lot of discussion on what the best make up of a division is but whatever you settle on recruit a division at a time.

This is a great game for the period. If you want something on a more tactical level then you could also check this one out.

Good luck to you. I went through it about 6 years ago. Not a pleasant experience but as long as no one was hurt and your insurance was good you'll come out okay. We actually ended up with a nicer house and furnishings when it was all said and done but not the recommended way to remodel and redecorate.
