i agree with dinsdale, it definately has the right 'feel'. i am playing my first game on normal difficulty as the south and i am really finding this game to be one of the best ive ever played (BTW ive had computers since the ZX81 so ive played a few games :sourcil: ) I love the way you are in charge...

Thanks Rafiki. I think i have a problem here in that i have played u until around sept 62 without saves so will not be able to post screenshots!!! I did say i was a novice at this!!! I think i will have to call it a day on this, because i must agree endless posts full of text will not make a good AA...

Anyone with more to report on how this works out. In my current game the Union AI seems to have gone a bit inactive, so i was thinking of restarting with new settings.

Maybee extra AI time and FOW+1

Would love to hear how people are getting on with this!

I would play bull run and shiloh, just to get the hang of moving troops about and to get used to the battle screen etc. I did this then moved on to the april 61 campaign. well,

dont think that rail makes any difference to the unit in question (the 3rd reserve brigade) it would seem that this unit is supposed to be 'unlocked' out of supply.

i am going to try running the game until the point that the brigde comes active without doing anything at all to see if rail supply is effecting this unit

How do I get them???

I purchased one as a reinforcement but cant see where it is, and also i cant find the division hq.

I am playing csa its late june 1861 - is that why?

You can't move element outside the unit it belongs to.
