When playing the CSA I mostly build Brigs used as Blockade Runners and send them mainly to the Gulf Blockade. When industrialising, you don´t know, what you get, while Blockade Runners deliver money or/and WS depending on what you need.

Or maybe it´s just the question what would have happened if the South had won.
And of course it was the first "total war" with actions directly against civilians and had the first elements of trench warfare.

Wounded Austro-Hungarian units are also difficult to see (Or do I need a new screen?).
Maybe a red cross instead of the white badge would be useful?

Any chance of getting back to it?

Had the same problem playing Confederate: once unlocked the whole northern forces swarm deep into the south, east and west. If you have some garrison, it makes defeating them quite easy: give them some time to use their supplies and ammo, then finish them of while using your main force to invade ene...

will it be possible to select armies via the popup or via another menu? That would make planning and finding armies easier and you don´t forget armies. Will there be a German version someday? Could the technical advantage on air units be shown by the unit pictures (for example Fokker E III, Halberst...

I prefer to play with the Confederacy,
- better leaders
- usually more difficult
from some time on the north just has overwhelming industrial power, that makes the game boring.

Correct, Schlieffen planned to violate Netherland´s neutrality, but expected his diplomats to keep them out of war. Could be handled by the Netherlands granting right of passage to Germany.

I second that. Usual Demos hardly show how the game really is. I hope others follow this example.

Just got the full version after only playing the demo, more to come.
And if anything historical for German nations is needed, just tell me.

Next ones: -minor nation´s armies should be led by the respective kings etc.
-effects of research should be displayed in research window

One more thing:
Maybe the events should be categorized Entente only/Central Powers only/both sides, for example "total blockade" doesn´t make any sense for the Cental Powers.
And events against allied nations should be taken out of the draws.

Some small mistakes/suggestions

First of all, I played the Demo for 15 days and now have purchsed the full game. Allthough some things still can be improved, the concept is great, at last a ww1 strategic game worth playing -Geman land leaders: - "von" should be spelled like this instead of "Von" - Ludendorff was no noble, thus no ...
